I'm not even a fan of the original Clerks (sorry, don't kill me) but I absolutely loved Clerks II. It was fantastic.
I love television, and the film was kind of paced like a well-written sitcom. In fact, by the end it kind of felt like a Series Finale to a beloved show and it reassured the audience that everything will be all right for the characters.
Very well done.

I really did like the ending. As a Jersey guy I was able to relate to it a lot. Something about wanting to leave no matter what even if you have it great there.

I saw it tonight with friends, I had only seen a part of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, prior to seeing Clerks II, but it was really funny!

Great movie. Liked: Loved how they worked Jason Mewes real-life rehab stint into the flick. My favorite character, (Randal) returns to the big screen. [GIVE RANDAL HIS OWN HBO SHOW]. The new characters fit perfectly into the world Smith created, and Rosario Dawson made me want to impregnate her. Jay's Silence of the Lambs impersanation out of nowhere was comic gold. Bob having nothing at the end was perfect. Like stuff was so messed up that even the Jersey sage could touch it. It was nice to see Dante's character finally go to place he's always been pining for. Walt Flanagin's cameo Dislikes: The marked lack of Beserker. The fact I'll probably get in trouble for helping Randal take it back today. (Favorite part of the movie.) The fact that the gag behind Kinky Kelly was a tad telegraphed for my tastes. All in all my third favorite Jersey flick behind Clerks I and Chasing Amy.

Saw it twice. Went to the premiere (in my hometown) Thursday, then saw it again last night. Awesome film. Just as good, if not better, than the 1st. Most of my friends who saw it said it was thier favorite Smith flick, and all liked it. The only gripe I have it the placement of...damn, how do I do this without spoilers...a certain line that was repeated a lot throughout the 1st film and said at the end by Randal. It just seemed like an awkward place to put it, and as much as I love Jeff Anderson (and thought he was outstanding), felt a little too forced for me. Otherwise, great stuff. May all of your children be masculine.

The "***** monkey" (Can I say that? Should I? I DONT KNOW!) scene literally had me IN TEARS. This group of 6 kids sitting in front of me are trying SO HARD not to laugh, and I am literally DYING in full blown, roaring, obnoxious Homer Simpson-esque laugther, falling out of my chair almost puking from laughter.
And for the record, I don't condone ass-to-mouth under any circumstances.

See I don't get why people don't want to laugh at a scene like that. Smith isn't trying to be offensive, but making light of it. But some people think that you are bad for not laughing at something that isn't intended to be offensive but hilarous.
But Kinky Kelly...man that was hysterical.

It was more hysterical when Randall realized that Kinky Kelly was actually a man.

Wife and I just saw it. Definitely worth seeing in the theater. Not the funniest movie in history, but I give it my thumbs up. The porch monkey (I'm posting the whole word because I'm helping take it back ) part was hilarious as was when Becky called down to Jay & SB for music and Jay looks around and says "Lord?" Randall's impression of the three LOTR movies was completely gut busting.

Just got back from seeing it.
Holyyyyyyyyyyyyyy crap, AMAZING.
As a true Jersey-ite and Kevin Smith fan, I couldn't be happier.
But here's the kicker:
My pals and I got nice and buzzed at the bar before we went, so we were already in a good mood, when what should I see as the first trailer before the movie but...SNAKES ON A PLANE!!!
Soon as I knew what it was, I immediately yelled "HELLS YES!", and once the trailer ended, I lead a group of people in giving it a standing ovation. We are so definately getting drunk and seeing that on opening night.
Then there were the trailers for Jackass 2 and Beerfest, the new Broken Lizard movie. It's gonna be a busy summer at the movies...

Walt Flannagin's cameo was a mark out moment for I. I shouted, in true Don West fashion, 'THERE HE IS!'...people looked at me as if I escaped the mental hospital. (I did).
It even just as awesome the second (and thrid) time as well, as I've found out.
