I know a lot of people said yesterday they would be going to see it. I just got back from seeing it about 2 hours ago.

When it wanted to be funny, it was funny. I was bored for a majority of the film, though. The long batches of dialogue were putting me asleep. As a huge Smith fan I was mad. I was hoping for some quick-witted dialogue between characters but all I got was soap opera fodder. Funny the movie insults LotR because I treat that series like I'd treat this movie from now on. for LotR I mainly skip to the battle scenes and ignore the core story. I'd do the same for Clerks 2...just skip to the funny and ignore the sappy story.

I want to see Clerks II and can you tell me what "Pillow Pants" means?\ That's from the one new character...and I don't want to tell you what it is because it's probably one of the funniest parts of the movie. Like I said, when the movie wanted to be funny, it was.

That was worth the price alone.

I loved it! Rarely do I laugh so hard in a theater. Pillow Pants was the biggest laugh. The new guy was a perfect punching bag.

I loved the whole movie. Dante was always have problems with women, so it made sense to focus a lot of the movie on that.

I was hoping for a backstory on Elias, why they ended up at Moobys and even why the hell Dante was dating a new woman.
There is a Clerks II graphic novel out there that will patch up the holes in the story supposedly.
Otherwise, a good effort by Smith. The end had me feeling weepy, especially seeing the boys back in the Quik Stop after rebuilding it.

When Ellias was standing over to the side saying "Im sorry Jesus" during the Kinky Kelly show, was a classic moment from the movie.
If you saw it, you know what im talking about. No need to get the filters involved here.

And knowing Smith's record of getting his comics out in a timely manner, that should be released sometime in 2045.

I was lucky, I saw a fairly early showing and there were only 4 other white dudes there. That meant I could laugh at the racial slurs all i wanted.

Man oh man this movie was hilarious.
Randel, as usual, steals the show. He has some of the best dialogue ever. And he is indeed taking back a certain word.
And the donkey scene is so funny its hard to believe.
This movie definately tried to re-create the feel of Clerks with a lot of dialogue, but added some action to liven it up. But honestly, this is my favorite Smith movie next to Clerks. It was that funny.
And if you'll excuse me, I have to clean my brain of the image of Jason Mehews.

Classic. Pure classic. And now I get the Pillowpants comments I saw earlier today. I went to the show, had my Dante Hicks t-shirt on, my Mooby Cow work shirt, my plush Mooby Cow, & my Buddy Christ statutte. Yes, I was a Nerd. AND DAMN PROUD OF IT. This movie truly lived up to it's end of the deal & I loved it to pieces.
