K, with all the pessimism about how things are turning out for this year's WM, I kind of felt compelled to put this one out there. Granted, the scenarios I had in mind last year would have meant drastically different outcomes for subsequent events, but in some cases that might not have been so bad. The general gist would have gone like this: MAIN EVENT Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton for the WHC-Bryan wins the Rumble. Trips tries to throw every blockade he can in front of him. The final straw is Flair as the special guest ref, with Trips and Orton expecting their former Evolution buddy to favor Orton. Instead Flair acts the fair ref, counts three, and celebrates with Bryan afterward.
John Cena vs Undertaker-in the lead up to WM, Cena proclaims that no way will he sit out the biggest show of them all and declares there is only on challenge remaining: The Streak. Undertaker goes over and the streak stays in tact.
Brock Lesnar vs Batista-for several weeks Lesnar goes on a tear, destroying all the other super heavyweights on the roster like Big Show, Khali, and Mark Henry. Paul Heyman proclaims no one can stop the beast incarnate. A returning Dave Batista accepts the challenge, proclaiming the Best never defeated The Animal. Lesnar goes over and an embittered Batista turns heel to rejoin Orton and Trips.
SIX MAN TAG Wyatt Family vs The Shield-in this version the Wyatt/Shield feud still happens, but just gets delayed by a month or to so it can lead into WM.
And there you have it. Interesting, at least, to consider how this would have changed events throughout 2014.
