Spent some time with my niece and nephew this weekend. My niece had her friend over. While I was playing Supercard, I came to the realization that her friend was pretty familiar with wrestling. She pointed out who the Big Show was when his card popped up and made the comment "He usually doesn't work with whoever he's teamed with and ends up hitting them instead." This was her justification for why my tag team would beat my opponents.
I found it amusing that a seven year old girl can pick up things we often make fun of the WWE for doing over and over again. Anyone else have a ironic experience with the young'uns?

About a week after Eddie died, I remember playing Smackdown vs Raw with my little sister's friend that lived next door. The girl couldn't have been older than 7. When she came across Eddie in the wrestler select screen she said "I used to live Eddie. But then he started showing off all the time. He's a jerk now." When I told her about his death she said "yea I know, that's sad but that's what he gets for being mean to Rey Rey."

I had some kid behind me chant "Special Chocolate" at Mark Henry at a Smackdown taping I went to a few years ago.

I usually come across old-timers who believe angles were 100% real, and more often than not, they get the angle wrong (i.e. "that's what ended up killing him," said about wrestler who's still alive).
Kids seem to know the deal surprisingly well.

The kid who said "The British Bulldog is gonna win, whether he wants to or not" at the start of Summerslam '92 appeared to be pretty knowledgeable on the backstage politics and inside workings of the business.

Not wwe, but I'll always remember the little girl chanting for "Super Max" at a TNA show.

Back in the days when I thought wrestling was real, I told my dad that Mr. Perfect deserved to die because he was a bad guy. I've regretted those comments ever since.

Hey when he smashed Hulk Hogans title with a hammer, I bet a lot of Hulkamaniacs wished that lol Though after typing that, I miss Mr Perfect

Its amazing how intuitive kids can be, and what they pick up on.
I remember as a kid, always being skeptical of the guys who had a vocation character (Big Boss Man, The Mountie, Repo Man etc) because I didn't think you'd be able to do whatever job and wrestle too.
But I always believed in relationships (of any sort) as they were presented on screen, no matter how convolted they actually were.
