Honestly, I felt more uncomfortable with so many people being happy that this bullying was happening to Riley as a sort of comeuppance for his bad commentary. I mean, it wasn't great that he was disrespecting Balor and Itami's credentials and such, but that was just ignorance to me, not the kind of out and out maliciousness and blind hatred that Michael Cole had for Daniel Bryan that made you want Bryan to kick his ass. I'm mainly happy because he's better off wrestling than commentating.

I don't know how much he's been able to improve or not since he stopped being a full-time wrestler, but I don't see the harm in giving him another shot.

He apparently has been doing dark matches and house shows, and probably has been doing stuff at the performance center with the newbies, so I'm sure he'll probably be a little better than he was, at least.

It was great, I didn't feel uncomfortable and I was mostly ok in school. Didn't really have much issues.

So why is Owens bullying Riley anyway? Just because he can? Or did he say something?

Yep, it was familar, but it was a really well done segment. I like Riley, as a wrestler and commentator.

No, it was awesome.
Kevin is freakin great and I don't care for Alex Riley so it didn't bother me.

Jesus Christ, THAT is how you book a wrestling angle, people.

I went to an all-boys high school on a south manchester council estate. Nexus' debut was probably the closest thing I've seen resembling my school days.

It was intense. Owens really is knocking it out of the park right now.
Although I think these 'bullying' storylines usually should end with the bully getting his comeuppance and I really want Owens to powerbomb Riley into dust. So conflicted. I guess maybe Riley could run in and cost Owen his title or something.

It isn't really bullying. Owens had no beef with Riley until the "like a man" line. It isn't like Owens has just randomly started messing with him for no reason.

It could have made me uncomfortable if my first and only encounter with the bullies at school ended differently.
Their threat towards me was met with a quick witted response which could have ended in two ways - It would either get me a date in a hospital bed, or their acceptance and untouchable status because I was perceived "a good laugh". Thankfully it was the latter!
Ultimately my time at school remained trouble free, in fact the bullies actually liked me...which was quite useful and made life a lot easier!

In school, I was usually more of the Owens rather than the Riley in this scenario.

Did it reawaken any childhood anxiety from your days at school when you were in Riley's place, but were too afraid to fight back? Let's talk about it. This is a safe place. It didn't before, but now that you mention it... Seriously though, that actually makes the angle better in my book. It makes it sort of relateable I guess. If Rock had poured water on Mankind back in the late 90's that would have been even better because it would have been more current.

I remember in 6th grade. But I stood for myself and nobody f***ed with me ever again. But in turn I became a bully but not the typical bully almost like a vigilante bully. Did all your friends turn On you?

I liked that the moment Owens poured the water on him he stood up and got in his face. Albert holding him back was a nice touch too. Have to admit, it was sort of different seeing the giant holding back the big guy from trying to beat the a-hole little guy's ass.

I felt that way on the first segment, because I felt like Riley dug too deep when Owens was on commentary, and got smacked back into place. The second time with the water bottle was just blatant bullying on Owens' part, and now I want to see Riley get back at Owens.
