I remember in 6th grade. But I stood for myself and nobody f***ed with me ever again. But in turn I became a bully but not the typical bully almost like a vigilante bully.

It made me want to really see Riley beat up Owens, so I'd say it did the job.

No, but know what did? That segment that started this whole angle, where they were talking at the booth and Riley said the bit about "being a man", I turned to the TV instantly to watch because it sounded and felt so real, tense, awkward, and underplayed. More tension like that, less poopy jokes and preaching plZ.

Situations like this show Riley is a really good talker and it's why people, naturally, made the assumption he'd be a good commentator. He isn't so he's back in the ring now Graves has proven much better.
Credit WWE for common sense here at least.

Graves kind of forced their hand too, though, by getting a career-ending injury, didn't he? |

Slightly off-topic, I know, but Kevin Owens really looking great, isn't he?
As far as Riley/Owens, it just felt weird to me, because I mostly remember him as the Varsity Villain from FCW. Not often you see the jock getting punked like that.

well, small meek gay guy in nowhere Ohio. Yeah I got bullied. And I'm not even obvious. Didn't matter.
Also this segment didn't make me uncomfortable at all, I loved it. The most I've given a shit about Riley in the history of ever.
I liked that the moment Owens poured the water on him he stood up and got in his face. Albert holding him back was a nice touch too.
I really really like Kevin Owens' "f*** you I'm not the bad guy here" frame of mind he's got going, feeling disrespected by Riley.
They haven't even faced off in the ring and this already has more depth than anything going into Wrestlemania.

Enjoyed that segment a lot, like Riley moving his way up to fight Owens. Personally, I was not uncomfortable with the segment. Bullies never phased me as a kid because I was always six inches taller than the bullies.

Had they actually met at high school in all likelihood Riley would have been the pretty boy jock and Owens the doughy nerdy sort. The roles would have probably been reversed.

I really like the segment and this pairing, but I was never bullied, so it didn't really strike a chord or anything. Though I was kind of an asshole to a few kids in middle school.
