The great thing is that it has to be at least one person's job to constantly scan the crowd, then notify Kevin Dunn with something like "I"ve got wacky dancing white people on camera 4!" so it can be brought onto the live camera feed.
Also sometimes it probably gets rejected. "Hmm, those people are pretty wacky but I don't think they're wacky enough, keep looking. Look, see while you were screwing around with those losers we missed a great shot of that fat guy doing the Running Man"

The best is when they cut away from a finisher or signature move to show reacting people.

Best example of the latter I can think of is the camera covering for whenever John Morrison completely missed Starship Pain. |

The best is whenever New Day comes out and they only put the camera on the black fans in the crowd.

It is gold when they mistime the cut and end up zooming in on someone looking unimpressed. Was rewatching the Rock/Cena promos from the build-up to WM28 and they land on this guy who looks absent of f**ks with which to part. The camera scambles in a microsecond and you can almost hear an "oh f**k" from the TV truck.
