Do you think its possible NJPW can make a run for Lesnar after his WWE contract is up? Would you like to see this? Is it plausible he goes there?

he left on very bad terms last time This. As awesome as it would be with how on fire both of them are, it's just not going to happen unfortunately.

After the legal clusterhump that the previous contract lead to, New Japan would be crazy to.
Then again, people said Sting would never be on WWE TV...

Could someone explain why he left the way he did during his 2006 run? Haven't been able to find an explanation on the internet.

He left right after Simon Inoki, Antonio's son in law, tried to lowball him on a deal, and tried to trick him into returning the belt so that they could get it "polished".
Brock simply left with the belt and kept it on a wall on his garage.
I think that the Inokis where losing power on new japan during that time and wanted to take the title with them, this was shortly before the IGF. Ironically enough Kurt Angle defeated Brock on an IGF show for the belt.
I would like to see Brock throwing the young bucks around, and their selling would be awesome.

As others said, the way he left and the mess it caused means they will never bring him back. Of course this was during Inoki's reign of terror (although it was towards the end of that) but it was still a mess and not one I think NJPW will be able to forget, even post-Inoki.

With how bad things were between Brock and NJPW and how much of a hotstreak NJPW has been on? I think Brock Lesnar is more likely to wrestle for WCW in 2015 than NJPW.

Not bloody likely considering how they tried to f*** him over (Yes I know new owners now but still) last time.

In addition to how things ended the first time around, I don't recall Brock being much of a draw the first time around either. And considering he stopped moving the needle for WWE after his first 3 or so matches, I doubt he'd be any more of a draw in Japan going forward.

Brock has one of the sweetest gigs in wrestling now (in terms of pay and in extremely light schedule ) so if NJPW can match or better it I doubt it.

Not bloody likely considering how they tried to f*** him over (Yes I know new owners now but still) last time. Not to forget there's HUGE ressentment towards him in the locker room. He basically left them dead in he water, what with taking the title and all and basically making the entire roster look dumb in retrospective and screwing over Tanahashi's first big title win. So if you guys think Shibata is being held back, I'm pretty sure Lesnar would be losing to Sho Tanaka nowadays The silver lining in the midst of all this is that it completely removed the Inokis from New Japan and made possible the roster rebuilding that is the base of their new found success.

I find it hilarious that Brock in some way has been involved with making the "guy" in NJPW and WWE.

Even though it'll never happen, it's still fun to think about.
Imagining all of the potential match ups and stories makes it hard not to, heh.
