I did read some rumors that they were heavily muting the crowd last night, but it sounds like a portion of the crowd muted themselves.
It's really sad how much they've managed to kill this guys' momentum. As much as people joke about WWE "making Roman look strong," they really haven't done that. Instead they've exposed his weaknesses and made really clunky and transparent attempts to make people cheer him.
At this point, I'm wondering what you do with the guy after Mania. Maybe take him off TV and try to repackage him?

It would solve his two biggest issues (crowd reactions and promo ability), and then you could turn him face again once he's been sufficiently rehabbed.

It isn't working. Everyone knew it wouldn't. WWE refused to listen. I'm sure Vince is either shocked at the response, or is still dismissing it as entitled Millennial fans.

When Cena retires they are screwed No joke, it seems like WWE can only strike oil anymore when it's gift-wrapped. I doubt anything HHH does will change it.

I said a while back that Lesner/Reigns would be dumped in the mid card and it looks even more certain now. I don't think it will just because they've so utterly refused to concede on anything at all to this point, plus Triple H / Sting doesn't seem like it's terribly cut out to close the show either. Shit, honestly they should just end it on Cena / Rusev at this point. Weren't they supposedly going to close with Cena / Bray last year until the Bryan stuff happened? They should end it with Undertaker vs. Wyatt. By then it will be dark and their entrances will be cooler!

I want Reigns and Lesnar to be the last match. Wrestlemania must end in a chorus of boos.

So do I. Say what you want about Reigns but WWE made their bed here and they need to lay in it. That said a part of me does want the show to close with HHH/Sting since that does seem to be the advertised main event on the ads. The sad part of Sting's whole invincible Crow persona is that it's an inevitable letdown when he wrestles again. The way he was booked in WCW he should have showed up and destroyed Hogan in 2 minutes, but you can't really do that as a PPV main event. Thus, the heel ends up getting offense and Sting sells for it, and automatically it kills the mystique since Sting isn't really that sort of wrestler.

There was some midcard shmuck in the first match that got one of the best reactions of the night. Too bad he wasn't getting pushed to do something better.

I just can't believe how little they're helping him wih this booking.
It's like they're TRYING to kill him. Brock is in the building and they do NOTHING with him and Reigns. Reign is just an afterthought in a segment for a midcard feud.

Maybe everyone left because they have no interest in seeing a handicap match as the main event?

I actually think Lesnar will get a hero's welcome. People say that he's gonna get booed for leaving, I actually think he's going to be cheered because they respect him and wish him well. Reigns is going to be booed unmercifully, but at this rate, getting booed unmercifully would be great for Reigns instead of, damn, there's a lot of people, we better leave early.

Creative has tapped out on everyone it seems. I can't imagine what they'll come up with after Mania.

It's almost like they're now booking him to recreate the Rock's original run, so that when he hits the top again in the future, it'll look like a great story on the retrospective DVD.

I think either way, because of the building and general enthusiasm level all you'll hear on the feed is a whole lot of nothing.
