I'm addicted to youtube shoot interview clips. Back in the day, the would do shows with a minimum of 8-10 wrestlers. So, based on my purely subjective formula of shoot interviews and career achievement, my 8-man roster might look something like this:
Champion: Kevin Nash - Multiple time world champ and good storyteller US/IC Champ: Rick Martel - AWA world champ and IC champ with stories from a lot of eras and territories; Tag Team: ICP - They were barely passable wrestlers, but really interesting interviews and one of the few who worked the Ohio/Michigan territory with The Sheik LHW: X-Pac - He knew how to pick the hot promotions in his career and when he's not on drugs seems like a cool guy Announcer: Jim Cornette - no explanation needed Top Heel: Ole Anderson - It was a tossup between him and Sullivan because they both booked extensively and have great stories about how things happened. Sullivan is actually a better interview, but Ole is so dislikable that he just has to be the top heel Top Babyface: Ricky Morton - One of the greatest ring workers ever; another guy who can really hold your attention with a story
Anybody else? Who would you put on your roster?
