The last time the Intercontinental belt was defended at Wrestlemania was 28. At 29 it was defended at the preshow.
The US title was last defended at Wrestlemania was at 23 when Chris Benoit retained against MVP.
It was supposed to be defended at 27 between Daniel Bryan and Sheamus but, it got bumped to the preshow.
And the tag belts haven't been defended since Wrestlemania 29. It was defended on the preshow last year.
And now this year the Divas belt won't be defended.
Man it's Wrestlemania and 4 show you would think they'd have room to defend all the belts. Hell 14 was 3 hours and the WWF, IC, Euro Lightweight, and Tag belts got defended.

The belts, except maybe the World title, just don't have the emphasis put on them that they used to. They are just props to be carried around that don't mean much anymore. They need to make it seem important and worthy to carry each and every belt they have again. But, they can't seem to do that with everything at the same time.

I don't really mind if some of the titles aren't defended at WrestleMania, but I do like when all of the champions are on the card. Like the WrestleManias with Money in the Bank matches, where they had Intercontinental, US and Tag Team Champions in those matches, e.g. WM24, Chris Jericho, MVP and John Morrison were all champions and in the one match.
