Just meh.
I'm in Ireland, I'd need to stay up really late and it's just not worth it.
Last year was sooo much fun, we wen't to a bar where this group of guys who set up all these sorts of events ran a whole night, a DJ playing old theme songs, talent/impersonation competitions, etc, etc. All in all just a really fun night.
I'm sure the night will be pretty fun this year too, but you really need the PPV itself to be a draw for this sort of thing and it's just...not.
The inevitability of how things are playing out, the shrug-based booking, how belaboured the whole Poochie booking of Reigns has been (off topic, but are his eyes even more blue than before? Are they cats eye contacts now, what's happening?). Hell, even the part I'm looking forward to the most, the ladder match has a somewhat unpleasant side to it. They're just folding a number of story arches that could have had a definitive and satisfying end into the ladder match (Bryan going in, Stardust maybe going in)
It's all just so deflating.
I haven't missed one in forever, literally since I was allowed to stay up for it (WM 14 or 15 I think), but nah, I'm ok this time.
I've held off on writing this thread, because no one wants to hear it I guess and there's enough negativity going around. So...sorry for adding to it, it's just depressing. There's so much potential being squandered (not even talking Bryan, just any number of missed or deliberately overlooked opportunities)
To end on a positive: I just started watching Lucha Underground after a recommendation from someone here and it's loads of fun! Also NXT is like everything I ever loved about wrestling, so...Yay!

If you aren't feeling it, why make yourself stay up? Don't blame ya.

I already have the Network. It's Wrestlemania. I'm sure there will be something I'll take away from it. WM 27 I stayed up for and the HHH vs Taker match rescued everything

I'll probably just watch it to get with my brother and cousins who enjoy wrestling, and enjoy their company. It's just an occasion to see people I love this year - which in of itself, is not a bad thing I guess.

I'm sure I'll be watching it.....but there isn't really anything I am looking forward to (which is unusual for Mania time and should be a bad showing for what WWE is doing to hype their biggest show of the year)

That's totally fine. If I'm not interested in something (even if it's something I usually am interested in), I would not invest my time in it.
And if anything, one of the major annoying things in wrestling is self-important fans who call their not watching a "boycott".

Same. Except I'm not in Ireland.
I'll actually be a stone's throw away from WM31 this year. I'm going to the WWN Live Supershow on 3/28 in San Jose.
A buddy of mine actually had a spare ticket for WM, but I'm honestly not that into the show right now and the idea of wading through that many people doesn't appeal to me. If it were a more interesting card, I'd probably make the effort, but driving 40 mins and waiting hours in line for this show....not so much. If it were a smaller PPV I'd be more inclined.

It airs free on TV here, though around half a day late. Last year I tried really hard to not go to this place so I won't get spoilered on the outcomes. I couldn't, to an extent. This year... I reckon I'd probably check into the forums to see all the results early. I might still watch it, but frankly I'm not getting a feeling of anticipation for it. Like... I dunno, it's gonna be on TV, might as well have the TV on and watch some of the matches. Maybe some parts will be nice to look at. In other words, it's just there.

At this point, I might have to watch with a paper sack over my head.

I want to check it out too, but not sure when it started or where to begin.

I'm really liking the build to the show, but I still haven't made the effort to purchase my ticket. I'm just gonna buy a nosebleed seat and watch the event from one of the many bars/SRO spaces on the first concourse. Levis Stadium isn't that hard to move around so I doubt there will be a ton of long lines.

I feel ya. I'll be around, following results online, but I'm not expecting much. It's the saddest card ever, much less for Wrestlemania.

I'll be watching, but only because I have nothing better to do on that day. That shouldn't be how I feel about watching the biggest show of the year but sadly that's exactly what it's come to. I can't blame people for not watching this year, but I have the network and nothing to do, so I will be.
I think I was more excited for Fast Lane. What the hell has happened?

I was going to go up north to see WM live this year... then as the card unfolded, EVERYBODY who was going to go with me found something better to do. That includes me. It's not like I'm never going to watch again, but seriously... what in all f*** happened to the booking for this show to arouse such apathy? If Wrestlemania 31 apathy was a zombie virus, we'd ALL be undead. No survivors, no struggle, no Michonne. Just a bunch of pissed off undead marks infesting the globe unopposed. f*** this company. LOL

It's f***in' WrestleMania, and my interest level is as big as a B-PPV at best.
Multiple cluster-f*** matches involving people their too lazy to think of a storyline for, Rollins/Orton is a opener for a show like Extreme Rules, I love Taker and Bray, but it doesn't interest me. Not only have their f***ed up by having Reigns win the Rumble, his reactions are deteriorating and his booking is insanely bad for the man who's going to beat the 1 in 21-1.
All in all, the only things that interest me are seeing Sting in a WWE ring and the reactions to Brock/Reigns.

I get what you mean, I'm not even really angry about the product anymore, I've just kind of accepted that it's not made for me right now. It's almost nice just not caring.

I think the reverse of this has helped me prioritize
I don't bother watching the build-up at all these days, I instead record it, go to sleep, then read the results and gauge my interest in certain segments of the recorded RAWs and Smackdowns that way. Then I tune in to the PPV at the end of it all. I still get my WWE fix, but it's in bitesize chunks. Like revision.

Eh, I'll watch just because it's WrestleMania and the fact that not having to pay $60 for a shitty show isn't really a problem anymore. I know that some folks still have to pay full price, but could you imagine how badly this would go over if WWE Network wasn't around?
