It may be a bit lame sounding, but I'm at the point where I'm just taking small victories and not worrying about the career progression that my guys may or may not get. I'm happy to see them on the card, that most will get a cool-looking entrance on the big WM set with the fancy graphics everywhere and that most will get to do their good wrestling stuff on the night.
I try to support my guys because I like their wrestling and/or their promos, and not because they might be a main event guy someday, if that makes sense. And if things happen to suck, I try to make some fun with it with jokes and funny comments.

I already have the Network. It's Wrestlemania. I'm sure there will be something I'll take away from it. WM 27 I stayed up for and the HHH vs Taker match rescued everything That match put me to sleep

Same here. Not really getting pissed about what all WWE's doing and I haven't even checked results of any shows since the Rumble. I watched the Rumble, watched about ten minutes of the SmackDown after it, watched the last ten minutes of Fast Lane, and otherwise haven't watched in awhile and have no plans to watch Mania. Honestly don't think I'll even watch the post-Mania Raw, I just feel really tapped out and uninterested in general.

My current plan is to watch it the next day before Raw, watch the ladder match, Bray vs Taker, Sting vs HHH, and see if the other matches are interesting. Probably skip to the end of Roman vs Brock to see if Rollins cashes in, or at least to see Roman get shit on again.

I wouldn't be excited for this year's WrestleMania if it wasn't for the fact that I'm going to a buddy's house with others this year to watch the show and shoot the ****. If it wasn't for that, I honestly would be struggling to gain any interest in this WrestleMania aside from Sting/HHH, the ladder match, Taker's entrance and what kind of reaction Reigns/Lesnar will get.

I loved that they just destroyed each other and Taker just punked him on every finisher. HHH crawling away after the Tombstone kickout is unquestionably a true Wrestlemania moment. I was surer than anything that HHH had him.

I don't give no kind of a f*** about this show but I'll probably still watch if I'm not doing anything because...it's Wrestlemania. They'll do something whacky that'll either amaze me or make me laugh.

I'm sorry, guys.
"But...but...but...IT'S WRESTLEMANIA! COME ON!" just isn't enough for me. Everything about this just looks like such a drag. Yeah, they'll have a big stage, but...so what?
There will probably one and maybe two musical performances that nobody wants. A stupid skit and a couple of promos that will take up match time for the guys we've been rallying for the last 6 months.
There. All done. I just saved you four long boobless hours.

It's a Sunday night and I work at 7 am Monday AM, so I'll likely be home and check some of it out at some point; maybe that is. Given my interest level the last few weeks, I may just play playstation or something.

I'll still watch it, but for all intents and purposes it could be called Payback or Battleground. Doesn't seem like a Wrestlemania at all. Just another middle-of-the-road PPV.

In the past 6 years straight I've been watching wrestling since I stopped in '04, this is definitely gonna be the first WrestleMania that I'm just straight-up not watching. Why the f*** would I? Look at what we've got here: - Our main event is between a world champion notorious for not being able to carry match and a man more forced than Lashley, Luger, and Sheamus combined (not to forget that f***ing Curtis Axel is more over than him)
- A match between two semi-retired wrestlers that no one asked for (and is being booked with the WWE > WCW angle that no one gives a single shit about)
- A grudge match where the babyface's return was f***ed up mere days after his return and already got his vengeance on the heel
- A title match that continues the long tradition of building up a heel just to that he can job to Cena (because that worked wonders for Bray)
- A divas match where the Divas championship isn't even defended (#GiveDivasAChance, guys)
- Another grudge where the face gets a meaningless victory or the heel gets a meaningless victory
- A battle royal that WWE isn't even pretending isn't just a bone to throw to the jobbers of the company
- A ladder match for a title that's worth less than the developmental titles featuring all the wrestlers of the company more over than the World Title Contender
- And another tag-team turmoil match that gets thrown on the pre-show for the 3rd time in 4 years.
In short, f*** Vince McMahon, f*** this WrestleMania, f*** this company, I'm watching WrestleKingdom 9 again.

They'll do something whacky that'll either amaze me or make me laugh. This was basically my friend and I's motivation for buying the Rumble (yes, buying since we don't get the Network up here in Not Toronto), despite neither of us having watched much for several months before. First of all, it's the Rumble and second of all, if it's not good it will be at least a catastrophic failure that will be hilarious both at the time and in the time after when they completely fail to learn anything from it. Plus there was a great match in there. I figure Wrestlemania will be the same. Personally, Sting actually wrestling in a WWE ring alone is worth it to me and I expect that he and Hunter will pull off a great match, despite their primes being behind them. I can honestly say I haven't really seen anything from this build outside of the HHH/Sting stuff and I think it's all been outstanding (haven't seen the Sting segment with the voice changer this week though so I'm sure I will retract that statement soon).

Just meh. I'm in Ireland, I'd need to stay up really late and it's just not worth it. Last year was sooo much fun, we wen't to a bar where this group of guys who set up all these sorts of events ran a whole night, a DJ playing old theme songs, talent/impersonation competitions, etc, etc. All in all just a really fun night. I'm sure the night will be pretty fun this year too, but you really need the PPV itself to be a draw for this sort of thing and it's just...not. The inevitability of how things are playing out, the shrug-based booking, how belaboured the whole Poochie booking of Reigns has been (off topic, but are his eyes even more blue than before? Are they cats eye contacts now, what's happening?). Hell, even the part I'm looking forward to the most, the ladder match has a somewhat unpleasant side to it. They're just folding a number of story arches that could have had a definitive and satisfying end into the ladder match (Bryan going in, Stardust maybe going in) It's all just so deflating. I haven't missed one in forever, literally since I was allowed to stay up for it (WM 14 or 15 I think), but nah, I'm ok this time. I've held off on writing this thread, because no one wants to hear it I guess and there's enough negativity going around. So...sorry for adding to it, it's just depressing. There's so much potential being squandered (not even talking Bryan, just any number of missed or deliberately overlooked opportunities) To end on a positive: I just started watching Lucha Underground after a recommendation from someone here and it's loads of fun! Also NXT is like everything I ever loved about wrestling, so...Yay! So you have a room to rent for me in Ireland right? and is there a good place to start Lucha Underground at? I want to check it out too, but not sure when it started or where to begin. Looks like I may not have a room to rent myself as of this morning! As for Lucha Underground, I picked a random episode, decided quite quickly that I loved it and that it was worth watching from the start. You can realistically start from anywhere and get what's going on, put the non-ring drama parts are told in this glorious telenovella way that made it worth going to the start for me.

I've never missed a WWE PPV and I never will, but the allure this time is unquestionably the possibility of the fans shitting all over WWE's plans for Wrestlemania.
