That Daniel Bryan would be in a multi man match with Stardust and R Truth, would you believe them? Be honest.
I wouldn't have. The situation is laughable.

In a perfect world, Cody Rhodes and R-Truth wouldn't be a step down for Bryan, but unfortunately they are.

I'd have probably believed it.
Man, WWE's been a mess the past few years. They took the kind of attitude they do now back when, Mania 2000 would have been Triple H vs. Billy Gunn or something.

If you told me this last year, I would asked, "who the hell is Stardust?"

The Shield/Evolution feud aside, the entire post-Mania 30 period has been like a parody of smarks' worst fears and prejudices about WWE booking, augmented by an interview that basically proves Vince is exactly who the internet perceives him to be. I'll never mock anyone for negatively stereotyping WWE ever again. They've proved the IWC right and then some.

Aside from the 'who the hell is Stardust' argument, I'd have believed it. WWE was never really on the DB bandwagon, and this is exactly the spot they feel he should be in

There's a few thing that can come under the thread title, such as:
Seth Rollins would be the biggest heel in WWE and was the one who turned on The Shield.
Dean Ambrose would be worst off after The Shield break up.
Cesaro's momentum would be halted dramatically after WrestleMania

Frankly, if you'd told me that Bryan was in the pre-show tag titles match paired up with someone like f***ing Fandango I would've believed you. I've never seen someone have the company get behind him so reluctantly and then drop him like a stone.

In my perfect world Cody Rhodes vs Daniel Bryan would be a credible world title feud, TOO BAD MY MAN CODYS BEEN STARDUSTED! Dashing/Grotesque Cody Rhodes had all the main event potential in the world.

Vince proving he is exactly what I was getting flamed for saying years ago. Coupled with the absolute shitty booking/build. It's on the Network, they don't have to try, buyrates seem to mean nothing anymore, so why waste effort making it exciting? When you easily could. Any of us could write this better, even WITH the current matches we've been given. The sails are completely deflated. This ship is at a slow crawl.
