Dog's at the groomer now. I know you tip for human haircuts, but do dogs count?

This reminds me of that episode of The Rugrats when they hired a dog groomer to groom Spike.

I always tip the groomer, but that was mainly because I had 4 dogs in total and so I felt obligated to give the guy or gal 20 dollars

It's probably nice to do, but I don't know for sure.

If the dog thought the service was good enough, it would tip

If you tip your barber, I think you ought to tip the dog's barber. And if you don't tip your barber, you either cut your own hair, or are one cheap SOB.

Yes, you tip the dog groomer, but what your wife has been doing for the guy is going above and way, way, way beyond.
Note to self: Become a dog groomer.

Since everybody thinks everything they do is worth a tip these days, I'll just say yes.

Unsure about this one, but one thing that I am DEAD sure about is that you should ALWAYS tip the FAN Forum members who reply to your threads.

Wait, some people tip their barbers?
I've never tipped anyone in my life. I don't agree with it. Good service should be given as part of the job you do and the wages you earn, not to expect a tip at the end of it.
There are much more important jobs that deserve a tip. Like Doctors for example. Nobody slips a few quid into the Doctor's shirt pocket after he's replaced your lung which is a bit more important than the barber giving you a short back and sides.

If they work for a big company, I'd say tip because they're probably getting underpaid.
If it is an independently owned business they can set their own prices so, eh to tipping.

If anyone is still wondering, I did not tip. It was an individually owned business if that helps.
Also shit was already fifty dollars.

Someone has been spending a little too much time with Mr.Pink.
