Anybody else deal with this? Any tips to relieve symptoms or reduce episodes?

I've got it too. It's mostly manageable, but it's triggered by stress and a lot of fast head/neck movement. I remember the restaurant I worked at was understaffed so I was doing like 3 jobs at once, and it got where when I turned my head a certain way everything would start spinning and I'd feel like I was going to pass out. I was advised to avoid doing things in the dark, even if it's going to the bathroom at night. There's also a thing called the Epley Maneuver the doctor did last time I went in for this issue, and it took care of the symptoms right there. They can always come back though, that's the thing.
It doesn't really affect my life much, but I am sketched out about balance related things like riding a bike, etc.

It sucks because it's a side effect of one of the medications I am on. I usually get really dizzy and explain to my job so they let me sit for five minutes

I have it, though mine is of the lesser kinds. Usually happens when I get up (either from laying down or sitting) or when it provides a great combo with my acrophobia when I not only get my head spinning but also spaghetti legs. Believe me, not fun.

I was diagnosed with benign positional vertigo a couple of years ago. I was given a list of exercises to do with my head/neck/eyes and a prescription for an anti-motion sickness pill to help with the nausea.

Believe it or not, there are vertigo specialists. Audiologists, ENT's, Neurologists, and some Physical Therapists have specialized training to help manage symptoms of it. I'd talk to your doctor about getting in to see a specialists if you haven't already. What anyone does really depends on the exact type and cause of the vertigo.

If you have 90's Vertigo, that's awesome. If you have today's Vertigo, you must feel underwhelmed.
