Pretty cool moment, but has anyone been pushed down the ladder quicker than DBry? Well, besides Mix ?

What made me mad was that it wasn't treated like a big deal at all.
What a waste. This should have been the biggest singles win of Ziggler's career but nope, it got lost in all the ladder bullshit. I hate the build to this match.

Anyone else want to see it as Ziggler rising up to be an equal with Bryan?
Just me, then?
Suits me fine.

He faced Rey for the Intercontinental title and was so close to winning it. Over the years the guy has put on great matches anywhere on the card. I don't see how pinning Bryan is such a huge deal.

As a Bryan fan, I am in the stage of acceptance.
It's over for us. I'm not even phased by his losses anymore.

Who was the last guy to do that? Has to have been a pretty good while ago. Orton maybe?

Problem is that Ziggler is not equal to Bryan in anyway. He is inferior. He is WWE's home grown attempt at Bryan.
He shouldn't be his equal.

And now when Bryan wins the title on Sunday by snatching from Ziggler's hands we have a shitty reasoning for the feud.

Pretty cool moment, but has anyone been pushed down the ladder quicker than DBry? Well, besides Mix ? It's pretty sad. Bryan lost a lot of his popularity due to awful booking. He's almost just seen as some other guy on the roster now. I'm sure they could bring him back to main event level, but you know just as well that he could go right back down to mid-card in the blink of an eye. Seems their using him in a sort of Chris Jericho way, where he'll switch between occasionally main eventer & mid-card. But Bryan should be more than that due to how popular he was.

This means that Bryan is winning the IC belt Sunday and that Ziggler will go heel and be his first feud.

It wasn't a big moment in presentation. Just a "Well, yeah, Ziggler beat Bryan." All the momentum and credibility of Bryan has been slowly sucked out like a vampire abusing a victim, leaving behind the self-fulfilling prophecy of "Only the chant was over." Bryan is essentially now second tier guy of the 'make the main eventers look good' club. He'll be helping Bray Wyatt get his heat back after Wrestlemania in no time.
At least he's still above Ambrose at this point and could very easily move into the main event whenever they decide to let a feud have a month off. It really feels like the shine of being THE star is gone, though...and that's an absolute shame.

I loved how the commentators moved on after everyone got laid out in the ring.
Absolute dorks. The lot of them. That's what they looked like.

Eh, don't make too much of it. He's a Jericho type who can believably lose to anyone just as easily as he can believably beat anyone, and WWE takes advantage of not having to over-protect him like they do unstoppable characters like Reigns. Bryan's been handed a lot of crap lately and deserves much better, but I don't think this is one of those situations. Just a random loss in a match with no stakes that hardly anyone will remember next week.
