Well, we have quite a few contenders for #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. In your eyes, who has the most legit gripe?
Here are the candidates:
Brock Lesnar: Former WWE Champion. Never pinned.
Roman Reigns: The Former #1 Contender, got robbed of his chance.
Randy Orton: He beat the WWE Champion earlier in the night.
Daniel Bryan: Remember when the Intercontinental Champion was the automatic #1 contender?
John Cena: Defeated the undefeated Rusev and is the U.S. Champion.
Triple H: Defeated the legendary Sting.

Daniel Bryan: Remember when the Intercontinental Champion was the automatic #1 contender? No. I only remember that in WCW the US Champion was automatically #1 contender for the World Title. And nobody wants that. NOBODY WANTS THAT!!! I'd say Orton is the first one. He proved that he's better than Rollins in Kayfabe.

I like that there's several possibilities and Big Show isn't one of them.

Orton never got his one on one and he beat Rollins last night.

I'm actually excited for Rollins' reign. There are so many guys he can feud with and have great matches with. Hell they could keep the belt on him for 6-9 months and just have him keep weaseling through until someone finally gives him his comeuppance.

It should be Lesnar, who had a rematch. However, with him being suspended, Randy Orton should be next in line based on his victory over Rollins at Mania. Reigns has already received his guaranteed WrestleMania title match and he came up short. He wasn't the champion going into the match and his case for being number one contender is not as strong as Lesnar and Orton's cases.

Lesnar is out, he's suspended. Reigns by all technicalities had his title match and lost in it. He's out as number one. Bryan has moved on. Orton has a legit claim, he beat Rollins the same night. That puts him on top IMO.

Orton technically never received his rematch from last year's WM so he should be first....but I ain't telling Brock Lesnar that. Brock first.

Lesnar since he was the former champion. Since he is suspended I would go with Reigns in a rematch clause since he got pinned in the championship match but not by the person he agreed to fight.
3rd will go to Orton for being the last person to defeat the champ.

I like that there's several possibilities and Big Show isn't one of them. ^^This. I am so tired of seeing Big Show on my TV every week. He is boring, and annoying. If he had the belt, I'd have to find something else to watch Monday nights. Brock Lesnar it is.

In order, - Brock Lesnar: Never got pinned to lose the title. Has a rematch clause. Seth bailed on an agreed rematch. However, he did attack innocents in his rage, so it's a close race between him and....
- Randy Orton: Also never got pinned to lose the title last year. Never received a one on one rematch, though he competed for the vacant title at the WWE World Heavyweight title Ladder Match at Money in the Bank. Pinned Seth Rollins on the same night as the cash in.
- Roman Reigns: Reigns should not be completely forgotten. Though he did lose the match, the Royal Rumble opportunity was promised as a one on one match, one that he earned twice, but ended up a surprise triple threat match.
- John Cena: The current United States champion. Though he did lose the title fairly last Summer, his rematch clause was spoiled by Seth Rollins, and was never compensated. His last title shot was won in a #1 Contenders match, but like Reigns, it was a one on one match that turned into a triple threat match with Rollins, though he at least knew about it ahead of time. Did not get pinned in that match.
- Daniel Bryan: The current Intercontinental champion. Was stripped of the WWE WHC last Summer due to injury. Gambled his outstanding title shot for a shot at Wrestlemania main event, but came up short fair and square. Nonetheless, the IC champion should at least be on the radar.
- Big Show: Winner of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. First man to pin Roman Reigns in Feburary, who was #1 Contender at the time.
- Cesaro and Tyson Kidd: All champions should at least be a blip of the radar of the World title.

Lesnar. Wasn't even pinned, and the guy who became the champion wasn't even in the match originally

By all rights, Lesnar should have first dibs on a title shot, but with circumstances the way they are, he's out of the picture. Reigns, unfortunately for him, lost the match fair and square (Rollins may not have the moral high ground, but by the letter of WWE rules and regulations, Rollins didn't cheat and won the match clean) and lost his #1 Contender claim. So, I think Orton has the best case for getting the title shot at the moment having actually beaten the current champion mere hours before he won that championship.

Both Lesnar and Reigns have viable claims as they were expecting a singles match for the title and were robbed of it. Lesnar has more claim because he wasn't pinned to lose his title and a champion always gets a rematch right?
Orton is also a contender as he pinned Seth Rollins cleanly at Wrestlemania.

In order:
1. Brock Lesnar 2. Randy Orton 3. Roman Reigns
Brock has the biggest claim being the former champion who didn't get pinned but since Brock is "suspended", Orton is the most logical choice having beat Rollins at WrestleMania.

The problem with Seth is that all the people he is now likely to interact with - he has wrestled 49 times each on TV this past year. There is nothing fresh with him beyond his name being on the belt.

Kayfabe-wise, Rusev has a legit beef. Took someone over one year to pin him.
I picked him.
