Path Of The Warrior DLC has just come out, completing the lineup for 2K15. And work has already begun for 2K16, with scanning processes taking place over WM weekend. So, let's continue on, in thread number...

These glitches you all love so much don't create themselves, you know.

Just finished Path of the Warrior. Its nothing extraordinary but I enjoyed it. Im just psyched to have MSG and the other arenas available to use. Plus you come out of it with like 8 different Warrior attires. Just wish his blue Winged Eagle got unlocked somewhere along the way.

I've been wanting an arena like the MSG one in the game for years. It's perfect for a weekly WWF Superstars / Wrestling Challenge show in Universe.

My 2 cents on 2K16: The graphics for 2K15 are on point and the actual gameplay seems to be on a good path (I don't know, I've never played the next-gen one but it looks good). So basically they just need to add a bunch of stuff to the whole package that is the game, hopefully most/all of the options taken out of 2K15. That's really the big criticism of 2K15nextgen, it's half a game really. Add a bunch of options, which is really what makes all these WWE games worth playing for a lot of people, and you've got a solid game. I'd hate to say this because this certainly doesn't help me, but maybe they should ditch the PS3/360 versions of the game to better focus on the PS4/One games. I mean, unless y'all want 2K14 3.0 because that's probably what those would be. As for glitches, those are unavoidable in today's video games. Pretty much every big game has them, luckily they are patchable.

I don't like a lot of the gameplay on current gen. (They've both been out for over a year, they ain't Next Gen anymore)
It's hard to do certain moves, especially ground moves, because they seem to drag the opponent to the center of the ring before doing just about anything. It also feels a lot slower.

Not sure how many of you are aware of Bloodborne, but you can make a pretty good Undertaker;

You know, I'm sad to be losing Punk with the next game, but I'll be too busy playing as Itami, Balor, and Owens to notice.

why is Sid only a ref and not playable? He caught the same bizarre disease that Mr. Perfect had last year.

They def need to fix the gameplay on this gen. I like that they take the time to setup the opponent for moves and I especially love if you go to the top rope while your opponent is grounded, they subtly roll themselves into a realistic position to receive the move. Brilliance in those details, and Im not even against the sluggish pace. I think we all are just still used to how arcadey fast previous iterations were on last gen.
But the pinning/kickout system needs a drastic overhaul. Its so dissapointing that would be great matches end on an armdrag takedown just because you are in the red and ate a finisher 2 minutes prior. I would also like to be able to switch between the participants and the ref on the fly like in MDickie's games. It's such a great concept in that it lets you work a match instead of just playing one.
And for universe, instead of selecting a feud storyline and having cutscenes before or after matches, if they could combine the storytelling scenes from the Showcases. Like after I pick a feud, we can build each match around spots where a mid match scene starts up, then goes back to normal gameplay. Hope this idea makes sense, because I really do like the showcase matches.

I want more stuff done with managers, tag matches and especially Rumbles.
I feel like it's time for the Rumble to be revamped.
More Universe cutscenes and options would be great. Maybe a storyline builder type thing?

Maybe a storyline builder type thing? What's weird is in one game they did revamp the rumble and it played differently...then the next year they went back to hte old way immediately.

I dig 2k15, the gameplay overall is an improvement over the earlier Smackdown vs Raw games I'd say. Hadn't played a WWE game in a while. MyCareer mode is cool and the roster is great.
Female create a wrestler and a divas path in MyCareer mode would be the main things to add I'd say. And improving the create mode in general.

I think we are all on the same page that the creation suite would be the most effective way of us all enjoying these games.
I get that the developer and publisher cater to WWE, who absolutely want their characters and brands to be the firstmost imagery.
But...damn. WWE is the custodian of pro wrestling in this country. And just as they sell the network to fans of WCCW wishing for yesteryear, they should sell their games as the best a wrestling game can to be to fans. Yes, with their characters and brands as the forefront, but open enough that the community can use the game as a vehicle to create our own enjoyment.
FirePro lived for 20 years off this premise. My god if we got a 2015 model of it, the possibilities

I'm amused that the same WWE that didn't want Triple H shown in any sort of Submissive position in reviews/screenshots in past games, let Path Of The Warrior end with *that* match.
I realize it's kinda how Warrior's WWE career ended, just found it interesting.
