Exactly. I think the reason we get the DLC in the first place is because the Wrestlemania Edition is already out (I'm guessing, anyway. I don't own a XB1 or a PS4) And yeah, the only reason Paige wasn't in there in the first place was blatant DLC culture. Wanna know how I know she should have been in there? My main CAW has the RamPaige as his finisher. I'm sick of the idea of game devs intentionally cutting parts of the game that should have been in there in the first place so they can sell them to us later. The Season Pass concept made it worse. THat's just devs slapping us with "we KNEW when we were making this that we were gonna take chunks out. Here, buy now for most of the price of the main game and we'll give you the already finished chunks later" 2K should really adopt what NRS is doing for Mortal Kombat X with its DLC. They're working on the actual characters after the game came out and didn't purposefully remove things just to charge for them so you're actually getting your money's worth. There's not a new version of Mortal Kombat coming out every year, so they can do that. WWE would have to be willing to not have an annual game to let the developers have that luxury. And that won't ever happen.

The problem is with season pass culture and exclusive season pass items to begin with. The other problem is Paige debuted the day after Mania she should have been in the main game to start with as should have Emma. Paige should have been free for everybody and PC players can't even PAY for her because of dumb season pass shenanigans. Also people are acting like the PC version coming with the DLC is some boon that players should just shut up and be grateful about without taking into account how late the PC version is and how being able to get a game+DLC package for less than you would have at launch is standard. If the PC version was actually out within a month of the console version that DLC wouldn't have been "free". The PC version has these things because it's now old as hell, relatively speaking. Games depreciate in value, this DLC isn't some noble gift, it's a way to make the outdated, old game appear valuable enough to justify asking full price for it now. Vanilla 2K15 quite simply isn't worth sixty bucks anymore, just like every game that came out last fall. You're going to see it on sale all through the summer as retailers try to unload their spare copies of it, and soon console players will be able to get it plus the pass for sixty or less. Exactly. I think the reason we get the DLC in the first place is because the Wrestlemania Edition is already out (I'm guessing, anyway. Here, buy now for most of the price of the main game and we'll give you the already finished chunks later" The Cradle DDT was already in the game though, someone was using it (I wanna say Curtis Axel), and as a result it ended up in last year's moves pack. Even when you have Paige, she doesn't get a separate one, rather the one that's already in the game.

People still think ALL DLC is devs and publishers holding stuff back for the money? Content in season passes is NOT completed when a game is released. They just plan the stuff because guess what? Making video games takes a bit of time and you sorta need a plan going in.
In a lot of cases, if DLC wasn't an option you wouldn't be getting that content at all.

Most people have a problem when publishers announce season passes as soon as the game is announced. Look at Evolve, that game crashed and burned because 2K made it clear that they were more concerned with making as much money as possible from DLC instead of putting out a more complete game.

Would be nice if true but there have been to many instances of dlc being 40kb unlock files confirming the content was on disk at launch. It's difficult to trust

Like most WWE dlc If you buy a single superstar It just downloads all of them but locks the rest Or it's also done through compatibility updates

Interesting experience with the oddities of this game. Someone uploaded a hack of Lana to Community Creations. I noticed she was barefoot for some reason. I also noticed her feet were crooked. Then I realised the only time her model is in the game, she's supposed to be wearing high heels and OF COURSE that's how they made it so she's wearing high heels.

The free ones actually contain all the data of hte other ones so you can still play with people that have DLC that you don't.

So I had an interesting bit of serendipity. My CAW was booked against Undertaker in a title match at Extreme Rules. I decided it's time Taker was out of my Universe Mode so I was gonna have him be injured in the match somehow. Then I remembered my finisher is the RamPaige which has a really lethal looking animation, so after a baseball bat laden assaul, a barrier breaker, a smashed announce table, and a big boot on the ringpost, I took him out with a RamPaige on the ramp. And then I decided to follow it over into RamPaige-ing all the midcarders I faced in no-storyline matches for the next few months onto the Inactive list until I'd get toppled by someone in my next rivalry.
And that's how my character went from kind of lame Crow Sting ripoff face, to what Anti-Christ Jeff Hardy would have been if Jeff wasn't at the lowest point of his addiction.

So the new Steam patch on 2K15 has increased the number of CAW slots from 25 to 50.

I really, really want to replace DDP's generic music with self high five but I lack the ability to do so. Dammit.

Leaked clip of JR and Lawler recording audio for the game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=m539iWtj1q4Judging this audio, it confirms these 2 matches: 1. WWF Raw Is War - 06/02/97 - Shawn Michaels & Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Legion of Doom - WWF Tag Team Titles 2. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Shawn Michaels - KOTR 1997

I hated the LOD in previous games because no matter how often you removed them from your Universe mode, they'd still eventually show right back up ... and they were on every show!

Neat. Wonder if it's possible that they'll do the same thing for consoles. I think you're giving 2K too much credit there. Unless they find a way to do so which allows them to keep the save files down to the required amount set by Sony and Microsoft, don't hold your breath. It's not 2K's fault.
