Small update detailing new CLOTH PHYSICS. At least it's something, I guess. Small things like this make a big difference, unfortunately for them they're piling it on top of an old engine which hasn't been very reliable when it comes to physics. Hoping they get the time needed to perfect it, but seeing as its a work in progress 4 months before release, I highly doubt it. That's exactly why new features don't tend to work out well. When you've only got a year and have to use the same engine as the previous year's game, it really stifles adding new mechanics. They deserve credit for trying, but I'd be surprised if it works as intended.

It's basically masking tape over a broken toy. You can try to hide it all you want but it's still broken. They need to actually fix the engine.

Thst would require taking a year off atleast.
The engine has been frankensteined since the PS2 era. Its gonna be a project.

I'm just waiting for "Since the cloth physics are so good, you can only wear two bits of clothing at any one time as a CAW!"

I lived for Create-A-PPV mode in SmackDown 2. Simpler times.

You know what I hope we get during the Austin mode? The Night of 12 Stunners. Oh, and basically any time he stuns a bunch of people. Just plonk us in the ring with infinite finishers and let us go to work.

I feel like they've done that in the past with someone.

The correct answer is to replace him with Stevie Richards... there's precedence!

Problem is, nobody involved with the games seems to care that much about a properly functioning game. They'll shine it up nice and add marketable things such as "largest roster ever!" or "You can play a Stone Cold mode", but I'll go so far to say that there's no heart being put in these WWE games aside from just getting the next yearly release out.

Despite the fact that said "largest roster ever" will likely consist of almost half being clones of some form or another.

Like, they can claim all they want about there being 120 unique wrestlers, but they've been filling spaces with differently costumed wrestlers for so long that there's no reason to believe them now.

With Austin as the focus, maybe they'll add more Attitude Era wrestlers again, but unless it's a clone-fest, I don't see how 120 slots are gonne be filled

I wouldn't think they'd make such a claim about the roster being 120+ unique people not including clones so explicitly and so thoroughly if it weren't actually true. When have they ever done that?

Still wouldn't surprise me. The number sounds more impressive then what could actually factually be involved

There's a ton of people that could be included from the Austin mode. Not to mention the no doubt expanded NXT roster this go around.
Do we have to say "Well they're lying" or "Who cares? It's probably gonna suck anyway" about everything? I understand being cautious about stuff but it just seems miserable to be like that all the time.
