Well they figured it out pretty damn well back on the Nintendo 64.
This new system sounds like it could be interesting, but I don't know. I feel like I got burned pretty badly by 2K15. For sure I won't pre-order this one.

Hopefully the Create modes will have a full set of features, but glad to hear they're coming back, especially with texture imports, we could get some amazing looking arenas and belts.

This is the best news I could hear about the game. Hopefully this means that they're also beefing up the CAWs again. It sounds like it, since it really does feel like 2K15 was a transitional year.
That reversal system sounds like it could be a huge pain, though, by limiting them and making them rechargeable. But it's got to be better than last year's, when reversals were next to impossible to time. As long as they program the AI to follow the same protocols (which you would think would be a no-brainer, but never put it past them to forget this), this should be a good balance.
So, I guess we wait for the other shoe to drop.

I wonder what "break out" means? Maybe you can finally attack someone during their entrance again. Actually, they said as much in the article.

I hope they add like, a fatigue system to reversals. So early in the match, you'll flip outta German Suplexes & AA's if you're lightweight, just generally be more agile, but if you're tired and beat up, you lazily elbow out.

Oh I'm sure with both Cesaro and Rollins having done the flip out of AA/F5 a couple times.

REALLY looking forward to this change, as I think it's a nice compromise between having full control over your reversals, and having them be totally random like in Fire Pro.

How the hell are they gonna advertise the weight mechanics without using Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show as an example?! Was like a 10-year tradition!!

I personally thought it was too easy to hit them, human or AI, and whether or not the indicators were on (though turning them off helped a LITTLE bit). I think this should make matches far more interesting.

I more meant I don't wanna see Big Show flipping out and landing on his feet.

Ya know who I hope we get? Blurphy.
Mainly because I want to use their running suplex & frogsplash. I f***ing love Murphy's suplexes.

I remember seeing a leaked paper ad (from Italy IIRC?), and when translated, it said people like Eva Marie and Alexa Bliss are in. So the odds of having the Dubstep Cowboys are pretty good I'd say.

This game is definitely becoming a must buy for me. Liking the changes they are making and I enjoyed how the matches flowed in 2k15 so the reversals should build upon that.
Definitely glad the create a arena is back, missed that.

Yeah, was posted here a while back, 2k guys denied it on Twitter. I hope they are though, I do enjoy a good tag division in these games.

Hopefully, attacking people during an entrance isn't just a matter of triggering a short cutscene of your guy beating up the other wrestler.
