Good if true on the Austin thing. I'd love to have some WCW arenas back in the game, even if they aren't the Nitro one. Was Austin in WCW when they brought the spaceship doors set to WCW Saturday Night? Da Muthaship set in videogame form? What about the spinning ring set from the WCW Saturday morning show? I'd be at gamestop first thing that morning.

Although it seems that the Showcase's commentary track will be JR and King, it would be great if they used Joey Styles on the ECW chapter(s). Team him up with JR or King if the game requires a two person commentary system.

If Savio Vega is in the game, Savio Vega Guy on squaredcircle might just explode.

So, we have our first conflict of information, Austin said his Showcase mode was only WWF/E only, and the report from OS says it covers all of his major career. Honestly, it sounds like the video they saw at the press was of footage from Austin's career, and not gameplay footage, and that they're assuming that it's career spanning. I'm siding on they're mistaken (sadly) and Austin is right.

I hope that A, New Day are in and B, they have Big E do his "DON'T YOU DARE BE SOWAH! CLAP YO HANDS, AND FEEL THE POWAH!" spiel. There's no question New Day is in. Freaking Ryder and Slater made the cut.

Yeah, brilliant, the commentary is still shot to shit. Fully expected Hogan's name to be dropped in there somewhere

My statement was more in the sense that, of those remaining on the main roster that haven't been announced, they're the ones that would need the most work. Everyone else remaining (probably) has a base scan and model from 2K15 that can just be tweaked with their new attires, new hairstyles and such. Meanwhile, Los Matadores haven't appeared in a game since WWE '13, and that was with their previous gimmick. Honestly, I kind of have a soft spot for these two. They're both decent enough wrestlers that are doing the best they can with what is essentially a New Generation gimmick, so for that (and completion's sake), I hope they get in.

I love that 2K sports pretty much kept everyone from last year (sans Hulk Hogan) I have no clue why THQ never offered multi year deal to the legends

That shot where they cut to the commentary table and JBL is there, and there's no JBL commentary, is just weird. I wonder if they're still working on placing him into it. Maybe they've done us all a favour and have an option to turn his commentary off!

Have to assume that that's Masks, and that the 128 is a fair total for what we could be getting parts-wise.
