Now that it is finally off Rollins, the WWE has got to be working on who is the next guy to win it. I heard some people say it should be Ambrose. Of course there's Reigns, if that's the route they want to go. It won't be Ziggler since he won already. Cena and Bryan are pre-occupied holding the mid-card titles. Is there really that next big heel they are building up? I personally think it's really fuzzy right now who they could go with. Sheamus? Barrett?

Ambrose and BNB are the only ones I could buy, unless they wanted to go with "Low-card guy fluke wins it out of nowhere, and since nobody takes it seriously, he has to meticulously plan out his moment".

The cool thing about the MITB match is usually there is no clear favorite heading to the match. There has been lots of unexpected winners throughout the years. Hell I remember a poll here that Bad News Barrett was the favorite here to win MITB before he got injured this year
But I have a feeling Bray Wyatt is a favorite to win this year

Ambrose seems the obvious one, maybe Bryan as an outsider bet?

It's Rusev. Don't be shocked if that guy is world champion next year.

As has been said Ambrose seems the most likely, but that could all change. Especially if either Cena or Bryan lose their belts or WWE go with the idea of Brock getting it.

I could see:
Ambrose Wyatt Rusev Ziggler Sheamus Reigns
All winning it, and honestly, I could see Barrett or Harper winning it too, maybe even Ryback. Wide open field this year.

MITB needs to be used to catapult someone's career. Rollins is a main event player, Ambrose/Barrett are in that 2nd tier that a MITB win would push him into that main event category. I could see the argument that Rusev doesn't need the MITB to win the belt, he could win the Rumble. One interesting scenario is if they want to move forward with the mega push, have him win both. I don't think that's ever been done.

I know WWE probably wont do this, but I would love to see Daniel Bryan win Money in the Bank (as IC Champion) and then announce that he is facing the WWE Champion (Rollins, Lesnar, Reigns or whoever) at Wrestlemania. The Royal Rumble would be a problem though, but they could have the authority (if they are still around) make a RR winner vs MITB winner match at Fast Lane with the winner facing the champ (which would be a simple problem solver if they, yet again, choose a terrible RR winner or if the fans somehow turn on Bryan)
They could even keep Bryan as IC champ and make it WWE Champion vs Intercontinental Champion. Giving Bryan a reign that lasts over a year (with him defending in great matches all the time) and then having the IC champ beat the World Champ at Wrestlemania would be a great way to make the belt feel important again

Lesnar hunting Rollins with the briefcase has a lot of potential to me.

If Finn Balor debuts soon I see him being an outside bet. I least expect WWE to push Neville enough so that's he's in the MITB match.

Not because he's not good enough but I just feel Vince will sour on him now that the undefeated streak is gone and his partnership with Lana seems to be done. Lana will probably go on to be RAW GM or something while Rusev gradually drifts down the card.

It's usually hard to predict exactly who is going to win it... especially so far removed from the actual show... But I wouldn't be surprised if Dean won it at this point... if he wins it when Seth is champion it could lead to some fun (Hahah Maggle!) segments of Dean stalking him. It's Rusev. Don't be shocked if that guy is world champion next year. He really doesn't/shouldn't need the Money in th Bank to get a title shot.

Sandow 2.0, minus the whole losing the briefcase thing.

Lesnar hunting Rollins with the briefcase has a lot of potential to me. The only way I buy Brock with MITB is if he cashes in immediately. As in as soon as the match is over. And no surprise cash in either. Just casually get on the mic and tell the champ to come get their whoopin.

I don't think Lesnar is ever getting the belt back. Nor should he given that he doesn't, you know, wrestle much.
I don't really know who they will go with. It seems weird for a big guy like Wyatt or Rusev to win MITB. Just doesn't fit their gimmicks. Ambrose has been jobbed out of late but a MITB win could get him back on track and it's not like he doesn't still have a lingering issue with Rollins.
