8 PM - 4.30 million 9 PM - 4.04 million 10 PM - 3.55 million
The big drop off is obviously due to the finals of the NCAA tournament, which averaged 22.6 million viewers and was close throughout. It was the highest rated game in 18 years.

Watching on DVR I say the third hour dropoff was because it sucked and just overkill. I watched most of it on fast forward.

It's clearly Bryan's faul... What, he wasn't on the show? Eight stitches in the head? OK.
It's clearly Ziggler's fa... Him, too?
It's CLEARLY Ambrose's fa... He wasn't on either?
...
OK, it was DEFINITELY Cesaro's fault. Can we blame him... No? Wasn't on other than two three-second cutaways.
Neville! Definitely Neville. He had a match, so we gotta blame him... What do you mean highest rated hour on the show?
...
Man, this is hard when you don't book your scapegoats.

Roman Reigns was on for most of the 3rd hour...
However it's likely because of the basketball game.

It could have been a bigger dropoff.
They got lucky it wasn't Kentucky/Duke

"Gentlemen, I have a great idea. For the main event, we're gonna put on a match between Ryback, Orton, and Reigns to decide who fights Rollins for the championship at Extreme Rules!" "Vince, didn't we already announce Rollins vs Orton on SmackDown last week?" "You've been here for a week and I already f***ing despise you, Jacobs."

I know I didn't bother after the first fifteen minutes or so. Glad to see I didn't really miss out.

Has nothing to do with basketball, we're just outside Mania season and nothing matters again. We're back to normal.

I think basketball had a lot to do with it Last wee was 5 million people other than that WWE averages high 3s to low 4s outside of Mania season. This is their outside Mania average, the basketball game is just giving an excuse for not skyrocketing off Mania yet again.

I know I watched it instead of Raw, but I'd have watched Raw otherwise. Considering the 2nd hour is practically almost always the highest viewed hour and this week it was lower than hour 1 should tell you that SOMETHING in hour 2 affected that.

Weren't they averaging just under 4 million during Wrestlemania season this year?

It is an excuse because there is nothing unusual about these numbers. They are what WWE gets outside of Wrestlemania season which we now are. To blame a basketball game that affects them every year, if not beats them every year, for WWE's fall back to normal is an excuse. There no reason to say this game played a part in a normal rating for WWE than to try and excuse them failing to draw interesting off WM yet again. If WWE averaged 5s and then pulled this, the game was the issue but this is not the case or even close to it.

Even I was watching the NCAA finals (Go Badgers) instead of Raw and I don't normally watch basketball.

I watched the first hour and switched to basketball -- not because I didn't enjoy the first hour, but because I wasn't going to miss the game.

They were going up against not just a basketball championship, but a basketball championship game involving Duke. DUKE. You can't underestimate how big a TV draw Duke is. And this was without Kentucky.
It's like the equivalent of the Cowboys in the Super Bowl.
