Super Battle FMW held a press conference today which was led by Choden Senshi Battleranger who was a part of part of the original roster, and stated that the promotion would return under the original name of FMW. Atsushi Onita was announced as having signed with the promotion to compete as Hideki Takahashi who is the main executive of the company (He worked as a Sales Manager for Onita) is said to have solid financial backing and a long term goal.
Hayabusa was then announced as he showed how far he has come since his injury by walking with a cane. Hayabusa said that he is fully behind the new FMW as to him it’s a continuation and he believes that Hideki Takahashi has strong intentions of maintaining and adding to the legacy of FMW. Hayabusa said that he had a long way to get in his rehabilitation, to this Hideki stated that he hoped he would see Hayabusa wrestle in an FMW ring again.

Wrestle-1 star Kai has signed with the promotion as well, stating that it was a dream of his growing up to wrestle in FMW. Kai also revealed that with him will come Andy Wu, Seiki Yoshioka, and Shotaro Ashino. Kai and Hayabusa are friends and both are looking forward to being involved with the same company. Towards the end of the press conference NOSAWA Rongai showed up in street clothes and called out Onita to give him a shot at the Blast King Championship, in any match that Onita wants. NOSAWA went on to say that he was forming a new group in FMW called “Monster Gundan” and that he will be bringing with him Kazunari Murakami.

At the conclusion of the press conference the upcoming schedule was released, the company is hoping to do a small tour every month. This is all really exciting news for fans of the promotion as the company appears to have really stable financial support and a logical strategy in growing the brand once again.
