AR won't ever be accuse of being a smart man but Gabe is still a mega douche. Stuff like this is why Dragon Gate no longer wants to do business with him. I hope Johnny Gargano realize what a big opportunity he gave up by choosing to stay in WWN instead of going to NXT when he had John Cena as a big booster. If Gabe came off as an upset ex when AR Fox left, what would it look like if Gargano left?

for what it's worth Fox burnt bridged with CZW in the process. Deej said in a recent interview that Fox was welcome to return but he had to get his shit together.
Not that Gabe isn't a dick because WWN has brought the worst out of him, but Fox has been making some bad business decisions recently

I know if I was an indy wrestler, I wouldn't be checking the company website to see if I was booked. Seriously, AR sounds like a complete cookoo dumdum.

Stuff like this is why Dragon Gate no longer wants to do business with him. Explain to me your understanding of the Dragon Gate situation. Who has ever said DG won't do business with him? Please provide a source.

Please provide a source. Yeah I was about to say. This is first I've heard of this. I know all the DG guys haven't been showing up for any of the big shows but I didn't know there were issues.

I know all the DG guys haven't been showing up for any of the big shows but I didn't know there were issues. The public answer is due to scheduling conflicts is the reason why Dragon Gate and DGUSA are not working with each other. The info I got from puroresu forums and sites (ones who actually break scoops on things concerning companies besides NJPW unlike Western websites) is the relationship is over due to money issues and booking philosophy disagreements. Dragon Gate was looking to establish a foothold in the North Amercian market and bring in talent for their main shows. Since DG worked with Gabe before and both had beef with ROH at the time, DGUSA was born. It worked out for a while until Dragon Gate notice the quality of performers brought in weren't up to the standards they were looking for. Out of all the talent on the DGUSA roster at the time, all they took were Rich Swann, Uhaa Nation, and Ricochet. Factor in the DGUSA shows weren't box office successes which in turn made the money promised smaller. Add problems with establishing work visas and you got problems. As time went along, DG stopped sending in as many folks as they used to. Towards the end, DGUSA shows had no Japanese talent on the cards. Total Nonstop Gargano. Faction wars that weren't connected with DGUSA. The last couple of official shows had lower tier DG guys who already had working visas along with rookies that they wanted to get some overseas experience. The reason why you are seeing an increase of EVOLVE shows is because DG is done with DGUSA. Gargano lost the Open the Freedom Gate title to Drew Galloway so it can quietly get retired. If you really went an answer from a US source, PWInsider in one of their Q&A this week basically said DGUSA is done.

DG falling out with WWN isn't really a huge surprise.
I'm surprised they even stayed partners this long. DG is a lot more fun and light while DGUSA tried to be all "serious wrestling is serious" most of the time. Plus the production value on most WWN shows is so bad, it makes it tough to watch matches that are actually really great. The Supershow last month was amazing in person and looked like garbage on WWN's site. I'm not saying they need full pyro and ballyhoo, but when PWG coming out of a Legion hall with no special lighting can look good, then Evolve needs to step it up.

I still laugh that the WWN company Gabe cared the least about is the one that has actually been the most entertaining for the last year plus (FIP)
But yeah Dragon Gate has not been impressed by Gabe's eye for talent. I also find it funny how much Gabe relies on CZW for talent anymore

I think DG just shut off on Gabe after they gave Gargano a shot and he bombed huge.

That's not the case and you haven't offered anything from the Dragon Gate side on the matter.

Please provide a source. Some amount of irony in you asking Bad News for a source when you're asked for a source, you just say the source is me and who I talk to.

Some amount of irony in you asking Bad News for a source when you're asked for a source, you just say the source is me and who I talk to.That's not irony firstly. Secondly the source IS me. I've broken news on here before. After I posted the news here the Wrestling Observer reported similarly. Jim Ross on stage with Samoa Joe Wrestlemania weekend talked about Joe signing with WWE as a done deal too. The fact of the matter is it has never been reported that Dragon Gate doesn't want to business with Gabe. Simply the competitive environment has changed for Dragon Gate. Dragon Gate's promotional calender in Japan grew and the cost of flights from Japan to US has increased by 3 or 4 times since DGUSA started apparently. A cost prohibitory rate.
