I forgot this gem from 1998. Remember when The Rock wore long tights? Me either. I used to own this figure, but then I had an extreme death match with it against Taz in my sandbox, and Taz dropped a huge f***ing rock onto him and Metal Gear Solid's Vulcan Raven. All that's missing is the "R" shirt.

Forgot about this piece of crap. And yeah, I paid full price for this one: It's a Hunico repaint with a new head, which means it's about oh, 5'9" in scale to everyone else in the Mattel line.

Holy crap, do you realize they could remove the rock on his pants and repackage this as Primo? No one could tell the difference.

Oh shit, there was a Saturn from that line? I wish I knew that back in the day. I loved, and still love, Saturn so much. Things like this is why I like you. Now that I think about it, Shelley is kind of like a less scary looking Saturn. Well... he can talk too, but... that mans moveset. Shelley does feel a little like Saturn, I can totally see it. But no one will replace good ol' Perry.

Wait, have we not discussed the ultimate peg warmers in wrestling history? Even if they're big peg warmers, they're not the ultimate... There's "big peg warmers", there's "peg warmers"- but any time an action figure is so big a peg warmer that WWF felt the need to make it part of a storyline or promo for a match, THAT is the ultimate peg warmer.

The Dr Death Steve Williams still has both of them beat.

Dr. Death, Jackie and that WCW Bruisers line Disco Inferno haunted TRU for over a year after release. I remember an entire bin filled with nothing but Discos and maybe a few Kidmans or someone else from that particular set. Just ridiculously full. Those were the good days when the wrestling figures comprised of ECW, WCW and WWF took up an entire aisle at TRU.

the best part besides the terrible gimmick and who the f*** would want them is the fact they got the photos switched around

Wait, have we not discussed the ultimate peg warmers in wrestling history? If one didn't know better or care, they had an automatic Austin vs. Goldberg match

I know it's not WWE, but I remember for a few months, the supermarket by me inexplicably sold TNA figures, so I grabbed what they had, namely Abyss, D-Von (But they never bloody well had Bubba Ray!) and finally, Sting: Keep in mind, they pretty much always had the same stock of D-Von, Abyss and Matt Bentley (Who I didn't get, because I genuinely didn't remember who he was.) Then one day I go, and I see a sole Sting figure, so I grab it because, obviously, he looks cool as f***. Then I got him home. Turns out the sleeves of his trench coat were painted on, meaning it looked as though he was wrestling in a jumpsuit that inexplicably had buckles and straps on the arms. But whatever, I could work with that. Until I actually had him wrestle, when it turned out that his torso was like, hollow, and would break away at the shoulders from the slightest impact or bump. So with that, I had to rather quickly retire him to the commentary table with "Shit Brown suit" William Regal: But hey, I got a lot of usage out of his Baseball Bat!

WWE's old "discount" figures: so cheap, they don't even have the budget to give Batista any clothes. How is the naked one NOT JBL?
