I know, it is like 10 years too late for this but I just got Amazon Prime and watched the whole thing. Hard to believe it was really only 2 seasons considering how memorable it was. Being 26 now instead of like 14 when it came out, there were more misses than I remember, but I still think it was a hell of a show. It still gets talked about so it made an impact for sure. I also wish Donnell Rollins was in more stuff. This will likely turn in to a bunch of quotes or pictures so I'll just say try to not get.....too offensive? I know his target was often stuff that may not fly in a more PC driven world now, but...oh whatever. Have fun. I'll start.

Ah......the show that is now awkward as hell for me to quote in public.
Granted it probably should have been awkward to quote it back when it was airing, too, but since damn near everyone was quoting the show, it became a bit more....I dunno, don't want to say acceptable, but I can't really think of another way to put it.
I still love the show, though.

I always thought the Prince Hollywood Story was better than the Rick James one.

Chappelle is a comedic genius. So are Charlie and Donnell, really. That show was absolutely red hot there for a minute. It was bigger than being just some dumb CC show. It was part of pop culture.
"Ahh, you darkness!!! You black, midnight, evil motherf***ers!!! Black magic darkness!!!!"

"Ahh, you darkness!!! You black, midnight, evil motherf***ers!!! Black magic darkness!!!!" Darkness is spreading. I've been watching all his interviews and stuff. Just begging for a straight hour of him explaining why he left. I get the idea, but I'd love his straight forward answers. He apparently has a new stand up special coming out so I'm way excited about it. I do know him and Neal had/have issues. I hear someone yelled at him on stage, "What would you say to Charlie if you saw him?" Dave said, "Hello Darkness my old friend"

I always thought the Prince Hollywood Story was better than the Rick James one. Finally someone else that I agree with. Always thought that too about the Prince skit. My favorite over the Rick James and it didn't need the whole episode. Did like the real real real world skit and the lost episodes that Charlie Murphy and Donnell Rawlings hosted. The monster one with the mummy and Frankenstein and when Dave was the richest comedian in the world skit was hilarious

In retrospect there were definitely more misses and cliches than I recalled at the time, but the hits were so funny that it made it a moot point.
Leonard Washington is my favorite Chappelle character. That dude was money. The wife swap episode was tremendous.

I'm always a big fan of the Wayne Brady skit "Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch?" I was just watching that one not too long ago, and it's still one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I was always a fan of this exchange: "Hoes, Dave. Dave, hoes." "... good evening, bitches." Not to mention, the sequence where Chappelle is just sobbing after Brady kills the police officer ("gimmie your sandwich, Dave... I said gimmie your damn sandwich!") just has me laughing like crazy each and every time. And as much as the "Lost Episodes" don't stack up to the first two seasons, I'd say they're worth it just for the Tupac skit. That was greatness.
