The Packers have no plans to release TE Andrew Quarless following his July 4 arrest. As a life long Packer fan I'm disgusted by this.

Donovan McNabb faces a minimum of 90 days in jail for his second drunk-driving arrest.

The Russell Wilson thing really brings out the nasty in people, this world man. I can understand both sides of the argument, and setting religion aside for a moment...Ciara has a baby daddy, for me, that in itself is probably a no go for me, no matter how hot she is. I'm not taking care of someone else's kid.

I'm not taking care of someone else's kid. Meh. It can be pretty rewarding to do, and this is coming from someone whose step-son let his dad lead him down a dark path that he has never gotten out of. He ran away at age 20 to be a homeless drug addict 8 months ago and my wife finally has gotten to the point that she does not cry over it too often. Having said that, even if I knew just how it would turn out I would still do it all again (though I might have looked into helping the cops put his drug dealing dad into jail for a long time to ensure that he could not be such a negative influence on the kid). It was still pretty nice for over a decade.

I sort of knew much of what Haynesworth was going to say already based on past interviews. He isn't wrong about how he was used in Washington, but he still deserves some of the blame. If you are getting paid like that, find your damned passion, your pride, or just something to motivate you. You don't have to be the world beater you were, but the effort he put in was pathetic. Not only that, but he could not even find his passion playing for Belichick afterwards. Damned near everyone finds something to motivate them playing for him, whether they perform for him or to spite him. It's not an excuse to just mail it in like he did, but at least you can see his side of the story. NE is also a space-eating scheme, or at least was around that time. He went to Tampa though which has almost always been a shoot the gap scheme going back to the early 90's, and he didn't do anything and was also horribly out of shape. That he has no one to blame but himself. But you hear all the time about new teams completely misusing acquisitions and it gets split blame. Like when Atlanta paid Peerless Price to be a #1 WR. Albert deserves a lot of the blame, but people never really mention Washington. That whole era of Skins football was a mess, and that contract for that job exemplifies it.

Stop trying to make Europe happen. And if you're going to insist on it, stop having games that are total ass.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's a Super Bowl in Europe within the next 10 years.

So a Bucs player lost two fingers due to fireworks. This just goes back to what I was saying about being chill during the offseason, just RELAX. Don't get a DUI, hire Uber or rent a party bus...don't play with fireworks and maybe wrap yourself up in bubble wrap.
Ridiculous, football is the most dangerous sport and it doesn't have the benefit of guaranteed contracts. CHILL OUT.

@adamschefter: ESPN obtained medical charts that show Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul had right index finger amputated today. That isn't legal. That violates a shitload of HIPAA rules.
