I think 'The Beginning' was such a perfect 'finale' sort of episode that doing another one would fall short. Either way, happy to see it continue as long as the guys are able to do it.

Either way, happy to see it continue as long as the guys are able to do it. Seconded. There were enough good episodes in RDX to make it worthwhile, the audience is still there, so why not keep going?

"Samsara" was uploaded to UKTVPLAY today. {Spoiler}Cat thinking some of the skeletons were playing twister had my sides going. As did the Cat's "RCadmedes" and Knighthood stories.
While the whole "Karma Field" thing is a bit of an old idea and did I noticed a continuity nod when Kryten mentioned Justice World?), they conveyed it in such a way that gave a good pay-off to every gag in the episode. Lister dashing off after the Cat finds his mineopoly card was great too.

First episode wasn't great, wasn't good, wasn't bad, it was just kind of there for me. Good to hear that the majority of reviews of it have been favourable though.

Enjoyed the first two episodes. Not classic Dwarf by any stretch, but decent enough.
That Kryten costume and makeup is f***ing terrible though. The one actor whose on-screen look should be more or less immune from ageing (I'll overlook the paunch), and he looks older and more tired than the rest of them put together.

Just watched "Give and Take" on UKTVPLAY {Spoiler}They acquired a new droid, "Snacky" the snack dispenser, who they mistake as a medical droid that can help them with transfering Cat's kidneys into Lister. Liked that Rimmer tried to boost Snacky's confidence by bringing up their psychiatric session (in which Snacky said and did nothing), I did feel like Snacky's story just sort of abruptly ended when he instantly managed to recall all the important instructions needed to create a stasis leak. Another RD time travel plot after we had one a fortnight ago seems lazy, but situations from earlier in the episode again played out really well. Lastly, the lift's revenge on Rimmer was great.

"Krysis" {Spoiler}I liked this one, wish we could have seen more of Butler. I thought the idea of {Spoiler}The Universe having a mid-life crisis after talking to Kryten was funny, but then came the extra twist that Butler knew talking to the Universe would help out Kryten and he has a friendship with him, which has me wondering if Butler had come to the same conclusions Kryten did about the final expansion, but just did'nt bother to tell the universe

"Can of Worms" (season finale) {Spoiler}I'm disappointing that it wasn't a real "female Cat" episode like the one we should have gotten in series seven, but instead was another goddamn Polymorph episode. The ending was also a cop-out. I'd have loved it if the cats on Z-Deck were real and not just a Cat dream I feel looking back on every episode that THIS should have opened the season, and "Twentica" should have been the finale.
