JTG is releasing a book tomorrow titled "Damn! Why Did I Write This Book?," which is about his time in WWE. This is the press release he sent out:
DAMN! WHY DID I WRITE THIS BOOK? Is a compilation of short stories all focused around the four letter word that has ended more wrestling careers than steroids, pills and alcohol combined. HEAT! HEAT - A "black cloud" that follows a superstar after a personal conflict or misunderstanding between two individuals or more backstage. In Damn! WHY DID I WRITE THIS BOOK, I take the reader, on a journey, from the beginning of my career, to the final curtain call; sharing stories on how I battled Heat from day one, while managing to piss off more people for writing this book!!!

Apparently it's coming out tomorrow.

Who would read this ... ... I would read this ...
I'm interested in hearing some stories from a guy in the spot that JTG was for the majority of his career there. I'm sure he's seen and heard a lot of things that would make this an interesting read. It also seems that he's done with wrestling so burning bridges isn't exactly a big deal to him.

I'll get this just to see what his take was on why he was employed for so long.

Curious if he'll address the time Shad and him got in deep shit for doing their finish on a ref for... reasons?

The book is only a 99 cents so pick it up if you can, some interesting stuff. The book's mostly filled with backstage gossip and whatnot. He didn't name most of the guys he talked about but you can guess who. payhip.com/b/7E0jThere's a nice Punk story in there dealing with the Punk vs JTG match on Smackdown. Didn't want to post the pages. Pretty much his description of it is what you expect. Look at this match and make your assessment. You can guess what happened. I commend JTG for actually taking this up with Vince though but that match, yikes.

JTG was never going to be a big star, while Punk was on his way to big things, however there is no accuse for his behavior.

So what is the story here? Punk and JTG were supposed to have a competitive match, but Punk wanted it to be a total squash match. JTG went to Vince in Gorilla position to complain, Vince overruled Punk, and the end result was that match posted above. JTG decided to no-sell the Anaconda Vice and tap out as if he was annoyed by the move, not in pain by it.

BRINGIN IT BRINGIN IT! BRINGIN THE BOOKS TO YOU! BRINGIN IT BRINGIN IT! WHAT CHA GONNA DO!? Hey yo, no more overwood. (nah) This is jobber-hood. (yeah) And it's JTG. Be scared? I doubt you are. (argh) I come from OVW. I was pushed on the spot. Then abruptly split Cryme Tyme up for no stupid reason. Turned me into this jobber. Get your moves sold. Jobbing left and right I get paid every week. (sweet) Marveling with my back to the mat. Pin me, pay me. (yeah) Jobbin'. Jobbin'. Who wants a win? I could care less about a push. (man) They call me a Jobber to The Stars. If you want a victory proper. No need to complain to the boss. No need to bitch. Cause no matter where we go. I bring the job 2 you.

The massage chapter is fun to read, I never knew that wrestlers could be such babies. A lower level wrestlers can't enjoy the same free incentives that a higher level wrestler can have? I think the big guy he was talking about was Mark Henry.
