Because he's basically doing the same shit he was doing between September and WrestleMania when he was the defacto champion and it feels old. I was ready for a lengthy title reign from him before he finally got his comeuppance, but now I just kind of hope he loses it sooner rather than later.

Doesn't matter who is champion. The product is stale, repetitive, mediocrity.

I'm almost hoping that they start hot shotting the title again. Sure the title reigns felt worthless, but at least it didn't make months and months of SHOWS feel worthless.

As much as I like Rollins the cowardly heel Champion with backing from whoever is in charge has been done to death. Seth is being made to look like an absolute bitch and his promos imply he doesn't want to compete in any match but that he can beat anyone if he feels like it (which he's obviously lying about).
I know it's cliche but he needs a clean win over a big babyface to be credible.

Also doesn't help that he's been the one who's been eating the pin in pretty much every tag match that he's been in lately.

He'll lose it soon to Reigns at SummerSlam or Night of Champions. Then either win it back or if Ambrose wins MITB cashes in on Reigns and we repeat this process of threads again until a face wins the title at Mania 32.

I was thinking about this last night. Rollins is so overexposed. I got used to Lesnar being gone and when he showed up it was a BFD. I think there is a proper balance to be struck. Part of the "problem" is that he is the best worker they have.

They need to let him be on his own. No lackeys or backing from the Authority.

I too feel that Rollins felt stale right after he won the belt. He already has more or less been the top heel since last June, so having him with the title all over TV is really more of the same. He's basically Orton 2.0 in the Authority and it's the same bad angle that tanked Orton's title run.

He's being booked badly (from what I can gather) and apart from this week's episode the shows seem to be so stale but Rollins is the best choice in my mind right now. I'm not denying that it may feel boring but I feel like it would be worse with pretty much anyone else on top. Being a huge NWA mark I can't believe I'm going to say this but I think they need a long babyface run to freshen things up, and it needs to be on someone other than Cena because he feels like a heel these days.

My only problem is their insistence on putting him in a hundred segments a night. He comes out to gloat about his accomplishments to kick off the show. Then Kane books him in some nonsense, and he has a backstage segment about it. Then they do another backstage segment with him and J&J Security, then he has his match. He's my favorite wrestler going right now, but they make him go through a month's worth of segments in a single night, every night.

This is why Lesnar as champ worked for me, because he wasn't around enough to get stale. I've watched two episodes of Raw since Mania despite Rollins being one of my favourite guys; there's nothing particularly must-see about his reign.

I think we kind of got spoiled with Lesnar. Because the times he did show up always felt important, and by association the title meant so much more when it was defended. Also you knew you wouldn't get screwy finishes (for the most part) with Lesnar, when we're basically guaranteed them with Rollins right now.

Also you knew you wouldn't get screwy finishes (for the most part) with Lesnar, when we're basically guaranteed them with Rollins right now. At least half of Brock's title matches had screwy endings. There is a balance. Brock wasn't around enough while Seth is being Seth, just now with a belt and not a briefcase. Need to find middle ground.

Man, we are starting to get nostalgic about Brock not appearing for months at a time with the WWE title. That's not good.
I don't think the problem is that Rollins is the one who is stale, but rather The Authority in general. As touched on before, Seth is in the position of Randy Orton 2.0, and that act is ridiculously stale regardless of who is in that slot. Hopefully, this tension between him and Kane removes Rollins from that angle, and he can craft a character around having to fend for himself as champion.

It's the Authority.
Orton's run was the exact same, the champ is an ineffective wimp constantly trying to weasel out of everything while his mom and dad f*** with him or help him out depending on how they feel that week. At least Orton had a much better chaser in Daniel Bryan. Rollins its uh Randy Orton and Roman Reigns kind of and Kane is there.
I'm not digging his run that much either, but I don't think it's because Seth is under-performing.
