Stream is a startin' for anyone who wants to watch www.twitch.tv/ffstvseems like 5,446,069..ish they flashed the pay pal for like a moment on the stream. Also 61 achievements! Costume unlocked! Bless those last minute Johannes cosplayers! Also sounds like we're almost guaranteed to get that Boss Revenge mode, aka "We made this stretch goal up because we really didn't expect to break $5 million."

Fantastic news.
Although now comes the excruciatingly long wait period.

I am filled with glee that this Kickstarter was not only the most successful video game Kickstarter ever, but it also met EVERY achievement and stretch goal with a ton of positive response from people from within and without the industry.
It feels like a giant $5.5million+ middle finger of JUSTICE to Konami and the way they've treated Igarashi since taking him off Castlevania to his leaving the company. As well as their entire corporate philosophy.
Bring on the Hideo Kojima Kickstarter!

As well as their entire corporate philosophy. So much this, so very much this. Though I wonder who the $1k+ backers are. More accurately, if they are someone some of us may have heard about (i.e. Game Grumps, Notch, ZONE...)

Update 26This project was a collaboration between dozens of people across a variety of companies, all of whom we'll be thanking soon. However, right now we (and Miriam) would like to thank you. We'll send surveys out later, but in the meantime don't worry. We at Fangamer have Kickstarter campaigns down to a science, and we'll take care of every detail: upgrades, regions, add-ons, shirt sizes, addresses, etc. You'll have many opportunities and plenty of time to fill out your survey and make changes -- we'll even send you a heads up before your merchandise ships in case your address changes between now and March 2017, when we hope to ship everything. In the meantime we'll be answering every support request. Before you send us a message, however, consider posting in the comments to ask for help; the Army of the Night is filled with friendly, knowledgeable folks who are happy to help. In case you missed it, you can catch the ending stream on Twitch. There were many highlights, but here are a few worth catching: 0:57:00 — IGA draws an enemy which he later dubs Bismarck Kappa III 1:30:00 — Aizu v IGA arm wrestling match 2:58:00 — IGA displays some serious candle-whipping prowess, followed by an interview with the game's musicians Michiru Yamane and Ippo Yamada 3:22:30 — IGA dons vampire teeth and shouts "DIE MONSTER" 3:30:00 — Familiar contest results, and IGA crowns the winner We'll leave you with the video compilation we created for the end of the stream, which highlights just a fraction of the creativity, generosity, and support you've been showering us with for the past month. Enjoy — you did it! Familiar spoiler {Spoiler}4: goofball 3: skeleton 2: fairy 1: knight.
and Iga said he liked all of them since he designed them... and couldn't choose between the Fairy or Knight.... so he went with the backers' choice... so the Knight wins
