I have found the perfect WWE Champion, with MATHS!

Using www.tpww.net/info/heightsweights/ as well as Wikipedia I created a list of every WWE Champion (including Andre, excluding Antonio Inoki and Ted Dibiase) and their billed height and weight.

Without counting each reign as a separate entry there were 45 champions with an average height of 75.1777 inches and 273.4444 pounds. Rounded down to 6ft 3 and 273lbs there is one former WWE superstar who according to tpww.net is EXACTLY that. He had a few shots at the title and before leaving the company was set to be a major star

Counting each reign as an individual entry means there are 120 entries with a combined height of 75.4 inches and 266.691666 pounds. With the height rounded down to 75/6ft 3in and the weight rounded up to 267lbs there is one wrestler the exact height and only 2 pounds lighter than the average. I'll give you three guesses.

Interesting to point out that Vince's billed height and weight are 6ft 2in and 248lbs so the average is literally only a tiny big bigger than the kingmaker. Also looking at the list of champions the closest either list would the The Ultimate Warrior at 2lbs heavier than the Lashley average and the same height or Sheamus who is the exact weight of the Reigns list however two inches taller.


Here are the lists if you are interested, please note that I didn't go the full hog to watch every title change to make notes of the announced weights because I was just doing this to mess about with statistics.

Interesting stats. I remember that Pro Wrestling Illustrated did this back in the day(I wanna say around 1992?) and found that physically, Jerry Sags of the Nasty Boys was the perfect guy. So....glad that didn't happen. I tried this myself back around 2005, and I think I came up with Tomko as my "perfect average".
