youtu.be/K_oPWPb8XXYWhat was the point of these? They seem like promos that could fit a character like Bray Wyatt, not Jericho. I remember watching that promo and thinking that someone new was coming, then being let down when it was just Y2J.

Same thing as him showing up and not saying a word for like three weeks; ultimately not a damn thing.

He said why in his latest book, to confuse people for the sake of confusing them.

What's been the point of Jericho for the past 4 years?

What's been the point of Jericho for the past 4 years? Besides having great matches and putting over developing talent you mean?

I always thought the girl was CM Punk and the boy was Jericho.

What's been the point of Jericho for the past 4 years? Besides having great matches and putting over developing talent you mean? That's debatable.

Really hated how they did this. His 2012 run was dreadful. His 2013 run, though, had a ton of great first-time matches. The quality of tv matches in 2013 was incredible, and at the beginning of the year, Jericho was a big part of that.

What's been the point of Jericho for the past 4 years? Besides having great matches and putting over developing talent you mean? What great matches? Comes in, has a mediocre feud that's forgotten about in a month's time, then goes and plays with his band that's been booked at the senior citizens center and then is apart of a tv show that gets cancelled halfway through its run. Wash, Rinse, Repeat

What's been the point of Jericho for the past 4 years? Someone has to lick the bottom of Stephanie's shoes and wash Triple H's car. Who else but Jericho can tell Vince how cool and in touch with the young folk he is?

They symbolically represented people taking what he created and calling it their own. AKA sort of the whole "You stole my identity" feud or whatever he had with CM Punk.

He said this in a promo too. "I trolled you!" Man I hate this angle looking back.

I knew the local school they picked to film them in. That was the highlight for me.
Ugh those weeks of silence, so stupid but an effective way to get the crowd to boo him I guess.

The whole thing was idiotic.
"Hey let's troll our fans....the ones who we need to keep happy because....we...need....their....um....money"

I'd be fine with all of it if it was going somewhere.
His book pissed me off too, because it didn't go anywhere.
Silence, silence, silence, 'the end of the world as you know it is coming' to a monster pop, then he loses the Rumble and... never mentions it again.
Would you winning the Rumble have been the end of the world? Because that's a really stupid way to build it up, and you were silent for no f***ing reason.
I honestly, thought it was all perfect until it just had no payoff. The right payoff would have made it great, but it went nowhere.

ARE THE VIGNETTES SYMBOLIC?
ARE THEY SYMBOLIC?
Coming up next, Brodus Clay faces Curt Hawkins.

What was the payoff? Jericho shows up....smiles....then leaves. That's it.
After he did that for a second time, I just changed the channel whenever he appeared.
If that was the goal, he succeeded. Well done, mate.
