Being meaning to create this thread forever. I wanna know more hair metal. Don't give me usual suspects like Motley Crue, Skid Row (isn't hair metal to me), Guns (same), Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, Ratt, Cinderella, Faster Pussycat, Warrant .....basically if it got huge on MTV back in the day, I probably know it. So throw some more obscure hair metal my way. Does Britny Fox have another tunes besides Girlschool?
I wanna know the tunes I'm missing.

Steel Panther. Sure, they're a parody group but they have the formula nailed...

Steel Panther. Sure, they're a parody group but they have the formula nailed... They are the hair metal equivalent of Dethklok. It's silly, but at the same time pays loving tribute to the genre while creating great (but funny) music.

If you can track them down, Rhino Records has a good 4 volume set of Hair Metal called "Youth Gone Wild: Heavy Metal Hits of the '80s".

Do you want newer bands or older bands? For newer stuff check out: Reckless Love Crazy Lixx Liberty N Justice H.E.A.T.
For some more older, obscure stuff you might like: Spread Eagle Badlands Black N Blue Tyketto
Also, from what i've heard, the new Tesla, Kix, Trixter, and Nelson albums are all pretty good.

Steel Panther. Sure, they're a parody group but they have the formula nailed... Ugh. Had to sit through them last year to get to Judas Priest. They were terrible.

Nitro, possibly the most over-the-top hair metal band of all time. The guys in the Vinnie Vincent Invasion would look at these guys and say "That's going too far." Here they are in action:

I am going to bed right now, but I will drop a bunch on you tomorrow
Edit: Screw it. My leg is killing me and I cannot sleep anyways.
Alright, first let's bring up some guys that got decent airplay on MTV for a short time:
Note: This is as good as Extreme got. Their first album was decent as a Van Halen clone band. Their second album was fantastic. They went downhill after that.

Next, let's look at some bands that at least Rikki Rachman took seriously enough to always play on Headbangers Ball:

Then there's the shit I wish I could forget:
God, that is so terrible. I need a pallet cleanser.
That's better. I'm feeling better now and my leg no longer hurts, so my bed comes a callin'!
