I just feel the need to point out that Chocolate Thunder is the greatest nickname in the history of our sport.

And to the shock of maybe 4 people, DeAndre Jordan has fired Dan Fegan as his agent.

According to ESPN, this is the third time he's left in 7 seasons. Apparently he hates how they negotiate his contracts. His last big contract unless Isaiah Thomas takes over the Knicks again and offers him a max deal.

The first 2 I can see as being a problem for anyone that wants to represent DeAndre, this last one, I don't think many can blame him for leaving Fegan. Fegan's ties to Cuban caused a lot of questions about if he had DeAndre's best interests in mind or he just wanted to help his buddy.

The only problem with the elimination of divisional considerations is that you still don't have a balanced schedule.
The Raps are still going to play the Sixers, Knicks, Celtics and Nets more often than any other team and that's considerably more advantageous than being, say, the Pistons and getting your fill of the Cavs, Bulls, Bucks and Pacers.
I know geography dictates that there'll never be a truly balanced schedule, so this really isn't going to be that dramatic a change.

As a Knicks fan, this news doesn't concern me. It's not like we'd get a spot anyway.
As a NY transplant in Charlotte, it still doesn't concern me because we won't get higher than a 7th seed.

I just have a feeling that one of the Eastern divisions will be the first to be completely shut out of the playoffs.
