I love it, I just don't get to follow it as closely as I'd like due to time and space restrictions. I am a believer, however.

It's very cool, although hearing DDP's jokes and references so often can get old. The first time it's like, "Oh, cool... it's DDP!" but after you hear, "Ladies, if you wanna hold back the sands of time, SQUEEZE 'EM!" for the 127th time, you cringe a little.
That aside, it's a great workout and I can't imagine anybody NOT getting at least some benefit from it. The dynamic resistance concept it great. I'll often ride an exercise bike and do the dynamic resistance stuff with my arms.

Been doing it for 2 years now. If you are out of shape or want to improve your flexibility and balance there is no better workout than this. Extra weight just melts with this course. Right off the bat don't expect any serious muscle mass to develop, you would still need to hit the weights for something like that and if you want visible success with DDP yoga you will need to change your diet for at least three months until you get in a routine and some sustainable shape. Don't worry DDP has you covered there as well.
If you don't have problems with excessive weight then you can go ahead and hit Intermediate or Advanced program right away. You might not get it right for the first few weeks but you will get better and you will be able to predict what moves comes next. I suggest you use a mirror or another laptop or phone to record yourself while you are doing it to help you do it right. Trust me your hips and knees will be hurtin, Im still soaking wet after doing Below The Belt basic workout even after two years
Injuries should not pose a problem as you can work around them by not pushing hard or not doing it at all. DDPs favorite move and one you do all the time is Diamond Cutter which is not really the safest move especially if you have dislocated lower back. I'm kind of questioning that move as well, its great for your spine flexibility but Im not sure what are the long term consequences even if you have healthy back. But doing it every half and hour or hour while you are sitting in front of a computer makes the difference.
I strongly suggest that you take the pack with Extreme edition as well because all three exercises on Extreme DDP Yoga are awesome: 1) 10 Minute Warm Up is something I do before every exercise or when I wake up. Its the best warm up session I encountered so far. 2) Hip, Back and Knee opener is something that will stretch you like crazy once you are comfortable with basic workouts like Stand Up, Diamond Cutter or Power Builder 3) Extreme Psycho Workout is like the holy grail of DDP yoga. Real intensive, no talking, lots of action and some crazy moves that are really doable
Now that I mentioned talking there is something you need to pay attention to. Most of the exercises are slow paced with some moderate talking like instructions for beginners and with very few breaks. That is all really necessary in order to do it right but once you get a hold of it all that talking will just detract from experience. Basically it means that as you develop you will be scaling back on basic exercises and going straight few advanced ones like Mix Tape, Double Black Diamond, Stand Up and Strength Builder, plus Extreme exercises.
If you would like to develop muscle mass you can combine DDP Yoga with original P90X exercises that use weights.
Even though DDP schedule shows that you do it everyday in reality you just need 3 workouts a week and if you pay close attention to the schedule you will see that there are only three intensive workouts every week. You can pretty much mix and match your own schedule and exercises too. Here is an example of how I do it, its not a basic level custom schedule but you can get the idea what you can do: MON: Fat Burner + Below The Belt + Red Hot Core/Ab Ripper X(P90X)= What I did here is I just combined two basic workouts to make it more challenging and topped it off with ab workout. TUE: Mix Tape = I substitute Diamond Cutter with Mix Tape due to faster pace WED: Knee, Hip and Back Opener + Red Hot Core/Ab Ripper X (P90X) THU: Stand Up/Strength Builder = the two rotate every week FRI: XPW
As you can see after some practice you create your own workout pretty much and that is the ultimate in what DDP offers: flexibility without any sacrifices (except soda and candy).
I tried so many from-home crash courses and none come close to DDP Yoga. It works. As long as you eat properly! .. Seriously drop that burger.

I'm a fan of DDP Yoga. I have been using it for over a year now. I did not change my diet (I know, BIG mistake) but I still enjoy the workouts. I originally started doing them because my free weight exercises and running/walking on the treadmill was becoming too boring for me, so I gave it a try.
I went through the three 13-week sets of workouts. By the end, it was starting to feel like a burden just because you are doing workouts every day and I didn't feel like I could perform the advanced workouts well enough to get anything out of it (like that thing where you grasp your hands behind your back with one leg forward. I'm just not Wally). Once I made it through, though, I now use my knowledge of which workout is which to organize it a bit more.
I am able to utilize my treadmill time and my yoga time efficiently now.
My typical workout schedule looks like this:
Monday and Wednesday: 20 min. treadmill, then yoga. Either "Energy", "Below the Belt", "Mixed Tape", or "Fat Burner". Tuesday and Thursday: 1 hour treadmill (so I can watch some of Raw and NXT) Friday, Saturday or Sunday: I try to do one of these days with yoga and treadmill the other. But recently I've just been sticking to just one of these days with the yoga.

It took me about 6 months to drop over 90 pounds with DDP Yoga. Strength, flexibility, and a way better quality of life came with it. I don't have a six pack or anything like that, but it's legit.

Congratulations man!!! Screw six packs, its all about feeling good and man do you feel good after DDP workout.
