RAW is live tonight from San Antonio, following a very noteworthy Elimination Chamber show. Dean Ambrose will show up tonight with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but Seth Rollins is still the champion, as Rollins was disqualified for shoving the referee into the path of an Ambrose attack, although Ambrose followed up with the Dirty Deeds and got the pinfall to seemingly win the title. The Authority tried to attack Ambrose, but Roman Reigns made the save, and Ambrose made off with the title. How will The Authority try to get it off him tonight?
Rollins won his title as a result of winning last year's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and we're two weeks away from this year's edition. Roman Reigns has entered the match, alongside Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, Neville, Sheamus and Kofi Kingston, and more names may be added. Will we find out who any of these are on tonight's show?
Last night saw one of the more shocking results in WWE history, as on his official WWE debut match, NXT Champion Kevin Owens defeated former 15 time WWE Champion and the current United States Champion, John Cena, clean in the middle of the ring. Owens then proclaimed that Cena's time is up, and Owens' time is now, and that the champ is really here. In two weeks at Money in the Bank, Owens has to prove that this wasn't a fluke - how will Cena respond to the loss tonight?
We have a new WWE Intercontinental Champion, The Big Guy Ryback, after he won the Elimination Chamber Match to win the vacant title. How will Ryback kick off his reign? And The New Day are still the Tag Team Champs after winning their Elimination Chamber Match - we know Kingston is in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, so it looks like Big E and Xavier Woods will have to handle the fallout from last night.
Only one of WWE's champions has held their title from the previous year, as Nikki Bella clocked in at over six months with the Divas Championship, retaining the title over Naomi in a match also featuring Paige. Is Naomi out of contention now, and will Paige continue her hunt for the Butterfly Belt... or will Naomi refuse to accept defeat?
All that, and a bunch of other stuff, as the two week build to Money in the Bank begins tonight from 8/7c on USA! And then, following RAW at just after 11/10c, switch over to the WWE Network, where THE STONE COLD PODCAST returns, with Steve Austin interviewing his former manager in the Dangerous Alliance, and the advocate to the former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar, the devious PAUL HEYMAN.
