Does HHH still count? because with everything I've seen from him in the last 2,3 years - he gets it. His work with the NXT brand, putting over Bryan at Wrestlemania, getting thrown around by Rousey; it all makes sense business and professionally.
Kane is another guy. He understands his character to a tee, he's always willing to put others over for his entire career and he knows when to take the big bumps - he's had such longevity for a reason. He seems to almost be a genius too from everything you hear from people about him. I know he's not well liked and he's overstayed his welcome but we'd be lying if we said he doesn't understand wrestling.

Jake The Snake Roberts....the guy just got it with everything surrounding psychology and how to make people do exactly what he wanted them to do. I'd say Bret was another one who go the entire psychology piece of the business, really knew how to get a crowd hot.

Brock Lesnar gets it. Watch him in the ring, watch him bump for anyone and go all out for it, watch him sell. The dude gets wrestling and putting on a show.
The Miz, just watch him as delusional Hollywood Miz, the dude understands it and gets his character is a fool and makes the other guy look better.

Ambrose admitted in a shoot that he got to where he is because he stopped taking himself seriously. Said a lot of wrestlers hate little mistakes or things that are supposed to be funny like Botchamania and Ambrose's response was "Dude we're grown men who get all sweaty and grab each other in our underwear. What is serious about our business?"

As much as he gets crapped on, Sandow would not have gotten as over as he did if he didn't have Miz to playoff of.

I'll only mention the 'current' ones. Taker (I feel he does more than anybody else). Kane Big Show Triple H Cena Brock Ambrose Wyatt Miz when it comes to playing a character etc.
Shield Rollins didn't. Now I'm not sure but I think he does.

There's a lot of lower card guys over the last few years like Snitsky and Curt Hawkins. Seriously.
Listen to interviews with Snitsky, he gets that anything can stick and wrestling is made of silly characters. Hawkins seems like a guy who was willing to do anything if it meant exposure and being on TV. It's a shame they cut guys like that.

Chris Masters during his second run was amazing.
On the current roster, for those that haven't been mentioned yet, you gotta give Bo Dallas credit, he'll do all the little things to piss fans off just so the other guy looks good even if it makes him a wimp in return.
In NXT, Sami Zayn not being mentioned yet is a travesty, but Tyler Breeze should be mentioned too for all he does to get his character and others over.

Brock
He realises that the business of full of insecure carnies. He treats the business solely as a source of money. None of this "diz bizniss" bullshit.

If you make it in WWE then you get the business.
It would be easier to make a list of those who don't get the business.
Teddy Hart, Davey Richards and arguably Loki and John Morrison should all be WWE superstars high on the card but a mixture of refusing to compromise and refusing to work on weaknesses mean they don't 'get the business' and condemns them to minor promotions.

William Regal in every possible way. Im rather sure he could run his own promotion at this point. Yeah. His drug issues are what hurt him most, personally and professionally, but he really does seem to get 'it' to a tee. It's a very good thing him being so involved with NXT because in terms of character work, getting heat, character motivations, knowing when to be serious and when to be silly and keeping a sense of perspective he's a goldmine for them.

William Regal in every possible way. Im rather sure he could run his own promotion at this point. Agreed. Heck, there's been a lot of interviews and stuff that show he's NXT's top talent scout- he brought in Hero (didn't work out but apparently the door was left open for him to return), Cesaro, he's talked about scouting PWG so I'm sure had a hand in Owens & Zayn, he's a notorious advocate of Daniel Bryan. The dude is so in-tune that he knows how to find other stars who might not be there yet but will be with guidance. And as a performer I truly believe he's one of the best there's ever been. Heyman. His latest appearance on Austin's podcast made this pretty clear to me. The reason he's such a charismatic and enthralling speaker is because he understands exactly how to promote, and he knows exactly what role to play, when to scale back, when to dial it up.
