Anyone else think Bryan was at the absolute peak of his in-ring ability this year after missing most of 2014? It seemed this year he matured alot in the ring and made a few minor tweaks to his style after coming back from injury. It was like he was on a run similar to when HBK and Undertaker underwent career resurrections in the 2000's.
Although I kinda feel I could be wrong and his long hair is making me feel this way.
He's had great matches with
Harper Ziggler Orton Rollins Big Show Sheamus Reigns
in 2015. There must be a few other names i'm missing

He tweaked his style a bit but I'm still against some of what he continued to do in the ring such as the Missile Dropkick for example. That aside, I'd say Bryan in from mid-2013 to when he gave up the IC belt in 2015 was as great as he could be. The only difference is that he went against different guys. I'd still rate his skill level as amazing regardless.

He's always gonna put on awesome matches when put in a situation with a decent opponent. Luckily he was given people who are decent enough in the ring that he could go crazy and have awesome matches. Unfortunately, storyline wise he had it pretty shitty.

What bugged me that he came back from a serious neck injury and what does he do? Headbutts not a top rope one but straight up headbutts and does it over and over which wasn't something he did before. To me that what a stupid move on his part and shouldn't done it when before he wasn't doing that the way he was and I think played a big factor on why he got hurt again outside Sheamus being ruff with him.

I hate to say it, but he barely wrestled enough to even comment on his in-ring ability (his first month and a half back was this never-ending series with Kane). I really hope he gets at least one more chance to have a good singles match at a Wrestlemania. If they become keen on keeping Bryan away from titles upon his return (whenever it may be), at least give him a good blood feud for a WM.

I don't get Bryan's missile dropkick, if he did it like everyone else and turned in the air it would be less of a risk and nobody would even notice.

Absolutely not. Quite frankly, I have no idea how anybody could argue against all the great matches in 2013. That's about as good as any wrestler has had in WWE in the past 10 years. Phenomenal run.

Agreed. Bryan's always a very good wrestler, but that year he looked like such a god that I wouldn't have doubted him being able to carry Raja Lion to a 4 star match.

I think his early work was a bit too new wave for my tastes, but when he joined the WWE in '09 I think he really came into his own, both commercially and artistically.

In my opinion his best year in WWE in ring wise 2013.
