a) Brilliant move. This is something they need to do a lot more of, take advantage of the Network like this.
b) Did they give a time?

A Show in Japan on the 4th of July? That's not very patriotic.

A Show in Japan on the 4th of July? That's not very patriotic. It's becoming pretty common for WWE to do shows overseas or in Canada on that date and other American holidays if memory serves.

A Show in Japan on the 4th of July? That's not very patriotic. At least it's not on Destination America, because if it was we probably wouldn't see it at all. Really hope this goes On Demand right after, no chance in hell I'll be up that early. Of course it will; that's standard practice for any new content on WWE Network. Premiere on the live stream, then straight to the archives. I actually had the same thought when I saw the 6:30 AM start time.

I live in Corsica, so it will be the first time that I will be able to watch a WWE show live on TV on daytime

I know that is the stated practice but I remember hearing that a lot of the live post RAW exclusives took days to go up. I am worried they might take that route with this special.

I thought the July 4th show in Japan was supposed to be Balor Vs. Jericho?

I thought the July 4th show in Japan was supposed to be Balor Vs. Jericho? If so, it's not any more unless he does double duty. I believe this could be WWE's way of getting the title off Owens in a grand way (Balor was a star in Japan), which also frees up Owens to work exclusively on the main roster.

No Big Show challenging Japanese athletes to slam him, no dice.
(Who am I kidding, I'll be up.)

What's funny is when I first heard about the Balor/Jericho was in the Talk Is Jericho episode where he interviewed Balor. He said it was going to be a treat for the Japanese fans since they both got their starts in Japan. Maybe it'll be the dark match main event?
