Hey guys, I went to the Fanboy Expo in Knoxville over the weekend, and I got to meet three of the biggest legends in Southern Wrasslin' history, "Wildcat" Wendell Cooley (who didn't smile once), "The Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony, and Dr. Tom Pritchard. Anyway, since I was cosplaying as a ref, and brought my own WHC commemorative belt, they had a bunch of belts with that that they let me pose with. Tom even joked that "I looked like Dan Severn with all those belts!" Anyway, I can ID all of them but the red belt Pritchard and Coolery were holding...can you guys give me any ideas? Thanks! Brian~

It's similar to the NWA Southern Heavyweight Championship.

I was there on Saturday. I heard all three announced, but thought I'd only seen Dr. Tom. Given that I did see a guy of about the right age who looked like he had never learned to smile, that was probably Cooley.

I"m going to guess that it's some sort of NWA regional title. It's the same format as the NWA Florida title with the spikes on the centerpiece and the dudes suplexing/grappling on the outer plates with the colors reversed. I can't ID what region it would be though.

Looks like the Memphis version of the Southern Heavyweight Title (judging by the area shown on the plates) but the red is different from the others I saw but they were mostly replicas.

If not the Southern Heavyweight Championship, it may be an old design for the World Class American Heavyweight Championship.

I'm not particularly knowledgable about old titles, but could it be the CWF Heavyweight Championship, circa 1988-89? According to Wikipedia, Prichard was feuding with Anthony and beat him to win that belt then lost it to Cooley so the pair holding that title with Anthony in the background would make sense.

I think so. I found a pic of cwf belt that look to have the same design.
