I don't know about films, but in terms of being convincing delivering lines and showing real emotions, plus being funny, I think the guy is one of the best on the roster.
He interrupts Lana's sit down interview with Cole and tries being all nice, and he's great. It's really funny how he snaps at the end and kicks the chair, wincing in pain.
The best moment was a week or two ago when he called Lana a "STOOPID WOMAN COW!!"
I'm actually really enjoying lovestruck Rusev.

Rusev is one of the best on the mic, great at staying in character, and has amazing wrestling instincts. So I say yup....

Lana did a great job as manager by doing the talking and the acting until he's ready to come out of his shell. He's great, always has been.

I feel confident in saying this character would suck ass with almost any other guy on the roster. With him, it's great So, yes.

He's phenomenal. So many guys on the roster feel like they're just playing a character, very "sports-entertainment". Rusev feels like an old-school pro wrestler. He knows his character, he lives his character, and everything he does comes off as genuine. You could take him out of 2015 and throw him into a WrestleMania against Hogan in the 80's, and he wouldn't feel a bit out of place. That's awesome.

He's great. That accent is slipping though lately. I thought he was legitimately getting better at Speaking English on the job. I don't think Rusev's strides in improvement would've been noticed as much if he had been speaking Good English the entire time. |

Rusev just seems to "get it" as someone alluded to a while back on here...he looks menacing, can sell, and for his limited speaking of the English language can cut a good promo.
I really hope the breakup with Lana (spelled backwards is...) doesn't hinder his career in the WWE

I still think Cody's number one, unless we want to count Regal. Lana's up there. Big E is pretty good.
There's other people who haven't had a chance to show much range, but I think they're good. Aiden English, David Otunga, Sasha.
But Rusev's definitely up there. Presume he's been taking classes.

He's one of those guys who turns shit into solid gold. An evil foreign heel? Ugh. But Rusev (and Lana, obviously) absolutely made it work. This romance/break up thing would be awful to sit through with anyone else, and Dolph Ziggler is the major weak link in that triangle, but Rusev really makes it great.

Rusev is the biggest surprise that I can recall seeing, in terms of what I thought he'd be and what he is. I actually thought he was pretty special on NXT, and thought he could be a dominant heel champ for years. But I did not think he'd have this kind of depth as a performer.
I really can't overstate how great I think he is. He's not even 30 yet, so hopefully he'll be around for a long time. He has the talent to go down as one of the all-time greats, provided longevity and good booking.
Even if they do make him a dancing babyface, he'll be the best god damn Dancing Bulgarian Bear Babyface you've ever seen.
