I actually went back to edit that and thought I should just leave a freebie open for someone.

Yeah. There's been no movement at all. Know what else is stupid? You'd think at some point in the last 2 years there would be a face authority figure to counter the Authority Yep that's the big one. The Authority area all powerful so can do whatever they like with no chance of comeuppance. The moment they stripped Bryan of the title undermined everything, what's the point in investing in a face winning a title if The Authority can take it away from them for no good reason with no established hope of recourse. The stable coming back after being vanquished further rendered everything they do meaningless. People may have complained about the McMahons in the past but at least back in the attitude era they could cancel each other out to some degree with the likes of Foley, Flair and a few other commissioners on top of that. These days there's no balance. Plus Vince feuding with his own family is inherently more compelling than the petty squabbles we have now. I'd rather see Vince drugging Linda and conducting an affair with Trish motivating Shane to buy WCW than Seth and Kane bickering in an angle that never goes anywhere. A big gap in logic is that they've referenced the board of directors numerous times. They removed Vince (and Face COO HHH) before due to questionable actions. Surely they can't possibly be alright with H/Steph pissing off fans by doing whatever they feel like

Lack of real progression in a period that has FIVE HOURS of first-rate programming every week, plus 1-2, sometimes even THREE, supercards a month spanning 2-4 hours a piece is what I point to. No offseason either to give everyone a break. Gotta progress more quickly now.

The real problem: it never ends.

Probably already been said but the worst thing about them is that there is no conclusion to their story arc. Imagine how unfulfilling it would be if at the end of Return of the Jedi Darth Vader and the Empire just get away and get a bunch of heat on the rebels and it just keeps repeating. A story arc without a logical ending is little more than writers/creative team wankery

That would suck.

Main problem for me is Stephanie. I honestly think that Triple H has no problems with being how Vince was back in the Attitude Era. Get one up by someone, get revenge on them, get whats coming to them in the end and so on. Vince made himself look weak and strong at the same time. Vince knew when it was the right time for him to get his comupance. Triple H did this when getting pinned by Daniel Bryan at Mania. Triple H helping to destroy Bryan in the main event only to have Bryan get his moment in the end.
Stephanie needs to always be on top and never allows anyone to get one up on her. Like the stuff with Brie that should have been Brie going over even though it was a stupid storyline but nope we had to have Steph win. Which is why when Ryback literally told her to shut up i was like "F**k yes Ryback is awesome to finally get that bitch to shut up." She needs to either go away or learn to let others get one up on her but thats not happening which is why i really want to see Ronda beat the shit out of her if that ever comes into play.

Even if Ronda beats Steph, it still makes Steph look good, because it implies that the only woman who can possibly beat her is a UFC champion

One day your whole family is going down, Gentital Warts. I promise you. Honestly I now cannot look at any member of the Authority and not immediately blink on GENITAL WARTS.

The real problem is the storyline should've ended at WM XXX. Seth could've just joined Evolution, and Stephanie could've been in charge of the show.

Stephanie apparently wants to be a sort of female empowerment icon by portraying a strong female boss character...which would be great, if her character wasn't meant to be "conniving heel who sabotages supposedly good people for her own selfish ends" on a pro wrestling show. All the while, her attempts to make herself look strong makes every Diva look exceedingly weak; they all back down from her, no of them can beat her, and if it comes down to Rousey, then yeah, the only woman who could beat her is one of the literal most dangerous people on the planet.Speaking as a feminist, myself, Steph's character is one that has surface potential, but it's hard to buy her as empowering when she comes off as holding back and belittling the rest of the female talent.

I wasn't really willing to give Trips the benefit of the doubt, and I say that as a Triple H fan, but after tonight I think I can say he gets it. You look at the last image of this PPV, with Rollins up front, victorious, with the WWE Championship, and Triple H behind him applauding, it's such a contrast from Stephanie slapping Dusty Rhodes hand out of her face because she refuses to not be the center of attention for one minute. I think Triple H fully understands it's time to give up the spotlight, and he seems willing to play the Ric Flair to Seth Rollins' Triple H. Which brings us back to the worst part of the Authority situation: even if they wanted to walk away or take a reduced role, they can't because apparently <HH> the damn network </HH> has a throbbing stiffie for the evil authority figure.

And even when Bryan finally vanquished the big bad Authority, we were still "treated" to Steph shitting on him as she always does.
