This thread honestly boggles my mind. I loved his selling in the match, especially the work to his knee. Yeah, he'd get bursts of adrenaline and run the ropes or something, but would immediately clutch the knee afterward. Plus, trying to hop up the ladder on one foot was great.
And, yeah, that's his character. He just has no f***s. He will get the holy hell beaten out of him and will keep getting back up until he literally can not. And not in a Cena/Superman "lol Nevermind" kind of way, the "ohhhhh that was a good one, but is that all you got?!?!" Way.
I understand I'm in the minority here, but I loved the story told there.

In the last week, I've seen threads with people turning on Ziggler, turning on Rollins and now turning on Ambrose.
Who's next to get turned on? Cesaro? IWC only has blind loyalty to Daniel Bryan.

IWC only has blind loyalty to Daniel Bryan. The same was once true of CM Punk. Nah, Punk has had detractors over a lot of things. Him being an asshole happening mote and more, people thinking his title run was too long, not liking the heel turn during the title reign, being mad he left. IWC has been behind Bryan solidly since the early 2000's.

The story of the match was Ambrose being the fighter you can put down put you can't keep down. He is just great at 'surviving'. Ambrose sold the 'injury' brilliantly for most of the match. The moments where he moved like nothing happened were kayfabe 'adrenaline rushes' or something like that. He is facing his arch rival for The WWE championship you know.

Beyond that... Alvarez from f4wonline said the whole reason Ambrose's leg was being worked and the fact he was selling is because the other matches took too little time so he and Rollins had to extend their match. All of that stuff done to Ambrose's leg, the damage, selling, they improvised on the spot to fill time. The fact Ambrose did that, still sold while telling a story and hell, even remembering the next night on Raw, also given his character no-sells and has been doing it since FCW, is an accomplishment in itself. He needs props for that.
