I don't know why, but especially after last night something about his style has taken me out of his matches a little too much lately. I'm fine with some instances of it, but Ambrose just feels like he ignored the crap getting kicked out of him too often now. I've had this complaint about a few people before, but something about the way Ambrose makes "comebacks" and the frequency of them just seem...off to me. Takes away from the suspension of disbelief.

I'm really starting to dislike his in ring work and character which is sad. I think he needs to slide back down to his Mid Card spot.

I said it in the MITB Thread but the dude basically outclassed Cena in No Selling in that Ladder Match... I thought that was impossible.
The Leg Injury was one thing considering a good TEN MINUTES OF THE MATCH was spent weakening it only for him to do a Suicide Dive right after that was all said and done, but the ending sequence to the match was horrible. I can take no selling the Pedigree, but in the sequence that followed, getting powerbombed into a Barricade, TWICE, and then being sitout powerbombed onto a bunch of chairs and a Ladder, and then being BURIED in them, only for him to pop up like 20 seconds later? Like, get up really quickly and get in the ring like none of that happened? Was straight ass.
As I said I can understand heart, will, determination, guts, etc, but that was just not good by Ambrose. That ending took me completely out of the match, the title fall didn't even bother me, it was just how that sequence not only made Ambrose look bad but also made Seth look bad for inflicting this much punishment on a guy who lost because a Monitor shorted out in his face already, for him to completely shrug it off like it's nothing
Don't even get me started on the fact he did the rebound clothesline thing THREE TIMES IN A ROW, that looked like a straight cartoon, that move is terrible, but it's even more terrible when he fails at it twice, rebounds a third time, and gets the guy...
I like Ambrose, he's cool, he's a cool talker, but man... that match just was not great... and the selling was a huge deal of that.

I love Ambrose but that match was really not very good. Slow, methodical leg work that didn't go anywhere since Ambrose didn't bother to sell it, a rush of high spots at the end that Ambrose didn't bother to sell either, and then a contrived finish.

Reminded me a LOT of back in the day when Cena would be getting hammered on, then suddenly eat a sensu bean and give an effortless AA just to follow it up with dancing around the ring celebrating as if the match never happened.

Its that rebound clothesline that does it for me. He does knock your block off with it but it looks so goddamn stupid.

That's what happens when you move up the card...WWE seems to always have you watered down.

Ambrose doesn't feel pain because he's on Bath Salts.

When Nigel did it, it looked damn near lethal. When Dean does it, it looks like he should actually lose momentum. And the MITB spot in particular, when he goes for it like three times was just terrible. But on the topic at hand, HOLY HELL IS DEAN AMBROSE BAD AT SELLING! Why even have Sheamus or Seth Rollins attack the knee if he's going to bounce around and come off the top rope later?

In the last week, I've seen threads with people turning on Ziggler, turning on Rollins and now turning on Ambrose.
Who's next to get turned on? Cesaro?

Who's next to get turned on? Cesaro? Kevin Owens.

...the storyline of the match was that he got his ass kicked and kept getting back up. They couldn't have been clearer about that. You can dislike it as a story, but he didn't write it. This isn't some flaw in his ring work, it's how his character is being booked.

Who's next to get turned on? Cesaro? Hey, I said in the thread about Dolph that the next person people will turn on will be Ambrose after MITB. It's begun...

The little rebound step he does off the bottom turnbuckle looks awful, like he doesn't want to even put his foot on the buckle. If you're not going to actually use it to rebound, don't do the motion.
