Oh man...you think they'd give Kimbo/Lashley a shot? Lashley would destroy Kimbo. Slice should just continue being a boxer, he has actual talent there.

I don't think I've ever seen the Hogan sleeper spot in an MMA fight before. Maybe I'm too used to seeing it in a worked situation, but it didn't feel like it was actually happening.

Remember when Scott Coker tried to sign Brock Lesnar? That would've been his competition, Lashley, Kimbo, and Cheik Kongo

Chandler looked good, Pitbull pulled out a freaking great comeback out of nowhere and Ken Shamrock isn't seriously injured. Everything's fine.

I have a question though, people making somewhat of a big stank with Kimbo being in the cage. Is it more egregious than Punk getting in the cage? Remember when Scott Coker tried to sign Brock Lesnar? That would've been his competition, Lashley, Kimbo, and Cheik Kongo Don't wish death on those people. If Brock never got sick he would of good but that chin is still a little suspect.

Considering the quality of the division, I wouldn't be surprised if Kurt Angle gave Bellator a try one of these days.

I have no idea how Ken wasn't able to finish that choke. He is a grappler at heart and knows how to choke someone and it looked like he had it locked in tight for a good ten seconds. I also am just so frustrated with this fight. You had someone fighting at the light-heavyweight limit having cut no weight fighting a fully fledged heavyweight. This feels like it shouldn't have happened.

The heavyweight division in Bellator has 3 kinds of fighters: foreign prospects who kick ass, brawlers that are in round shape and fighters wanting to hang on to whatever relevancy they have left. I'm not saying that he should fight in Bellator but I say him watch the fights and go "I can do that!" and give it a try out of curiosity to see how far he can go. If Tito Ortíz, who's held together by tape, bubblegum and the gravitational pull of his planetoid of a head, can get a world title shot, there's really nothing that could stop Kurt from giving Bellator a shot.

Lol even the announcer looks like a budget version of Joe Rogan Bellator is the TNA of mma To be fair, Jimmy Smith was bald before Rogan was(though, like Joe, he's an excellent commentator...Wheelock sucks though). Thoughts for the night: -Chandler looked sharp tonight. Something you couldn't always say about him post Alvarez fights. -Pitbull is not of this world. -Kimbo-Shamrock was the best, worst thing I've ever watched. -I'm actually really excited for Bellator Dynamite! Reminds me of the 7 hour K1 NYE shows. Though I wish it were solely in a ring(as was the case when Glory did something similar back in 2012)

Kimbo did the textbook defense to the rear naked choke, you tuck in your chin then flatten the opponent by laying on your back, that way he has your full weight on top of him, then Kimbo turned to his right side. It's still hard to pull of, when I used to roll in bjj that drill gave me a lot of problems, back in my skinny days...can't believe it's been a year already. Ok I'm glad Slice improved his ground game, ATT is a serious gym, glad to see they taught him that technique

Man, I do question if some Bellator fights are a work sometimes. That Shamrock/Slice fight was some other shit.

Thinking over the whole event I have to point out something again.
Tito is the lamest guy in the world. I bet if he wins the title he'll do an hour long pantomime of digging up a sphinx.

Why is a 50 year old man facing a 40 year old man in the main event of an MMA show? That shit sounds phonier than wrestling, lol.

Shamrock vs. Slice was horrible and had no reason to exist, meaning that it was everything I expected and everything I wanted out of this fight.
