MVP is approaching Anderson levels with me, dude is always bitching about something stupid. Yeah youtu.be/BhuMRe0Sq8wMVP sounds like he needs to clear his throat. Also, his flow is kinda garbage.

Cannot for the life of me comprehend why Jarrett is reattaching his name and his brand to TNA. It was already bad enough he was using the 6-sided ring and doing the ballpark shows, both things that TNA is known for. What can he possibly hope to gain from this? Their roster is depleted to the point it's not worth much (and really, if he wanted them, he could have just waited a week or three), and their main guy is his wife's ex. Their TV slot is looking like it might be a lost cause. The name? It's a joke now in the business and advertising world. The belts? Surely he can get better ones cheaper. I just don't get it. I will reverberate something that's already been said here, though - if tonight was anything even near what we're to expect with Global - Jarrett putting himself in main events, the surprise run-ins by long-gones and guys from 20+ years ago, it reeks highly of the way TNA first operated and shows that Jeff hasn't learned a damned thing in all these years. I think he wants to slowly put pieces of TNA into GFW until the point where TNA permanently falls. I believe that The ultimate endgame is that GFW becomes TNA in every way except for the actual TNA brand. He'll basically regain TNA without having to actually purchase the company from the Carters and take on its debts. So he's injecting TNA with a LETHAL DOSE OF POISON?

My guess Jarrett playing Dixie for GFW exposure, Dixie being too stupid to realize it thinking she's doing some revolutionary invasion storyline, and Jarrett being stupid for trying to jumpstart his fed by associating it with the TNA brand. Stupidity on both ends with ROH being positioned before and after Impact and about to become the number 2 company if they keep putting on shows like tonight. What can TNA possibly gain from this? GFW has had like 3 or 4 shows, all of which were incredibly underwhelming when it comes to attendance and obviously they've never had anything on TV/PPV. So GFW is pretty much worthless this early in the game. And when it comes to Jeff, the only thing I can think is perhaps he is getting terrified by his show's lack of a TV deal despite paying for the big deposit on running an Arena the size of the one they booked in Vegas. So maybe he is either going to use this as some sort of way to get in with the DA higher ups and perhaps take TNA's time slot from right under them and use it for his own promotion Because TNA. Man, that statement is becoming a handy swiss army tool around here.

I don't know, I feel like all parties involved aren't thinking past Sunday. Jarrett wants one last match with the company he founded (an actual send-off) and TNA has a PPV that's turned into an absolute dumpster fire. No plan or forward thinking involved, it's just a feel good thing to make the fans at the show happy. Not even really a bad decision for Jarrett because this has no effect on his business. He's coming in to work a match on a show nobody's gonna buy anyway. That's it.

Dave Meltzer speculated on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that Jeff Jarrett's TNA return could include a Hall of Fame induction. We noted before that they tried to get AJ Styles for this year's induction but he turned them down.
Jarrett's return at last night's Impact Wrestling was obviously kept a big secret. There was no mention of his return in the script and no indication that a big segment would be happening. When WWE has a big surprise like that planned, they leave a gap in their scripts for 10 minutes or however long the segment is going to run. TNA's script had no blank gaps for the Jarrett segment and had actual content written that had to be edited out.
Jarrett is expected to be around TNA a lot more after this Sunday's King of the Mountain match at the Slammiversary pay-per-view. There's a feeling within TNA that some sort of GFW invasion angle may be in the works but that's nothing confirmed, just a feeling backstage last night.
Sorry if this was posted.
If Jarrett is sticking after Slammiversary then we are pretty much getting a GFW Invasion and also the probably death of LU with Hernandez jumping ship....

Well it helped EY vs Melendez match being a glorified squash match, so the long promo wasnt at all a bad idea.

I love the idea that they didn't tell anyone because they didn't want anyone leaking it out and they know they don't have the locker room anymore, yet it still got out because they still tape early and there was no way they'd be able to keep it under wraps before the show aired. So, they remind the wrestlers once again that they don't trust them or appreciate them, and it still didn't work. Just...wonderful, wonderful stuff.

Is Jeff Jarrett returning even that big a news story aside from the behind the scenes stuff? They acted like him coming back was equivalent to John Cena jumping to TNA with that "I think we broke the Internet" bullshit.

Well they've always oversold Jarrett like he is this huge star... and while I wouldn't say that the Broke A Million Guitars never drew a dime line is accurate
Jarrett was not and is not a big deal. At best he's a dependable upper midcard guy.

Jarrett at every point of his career has been a channel changer for me with the exception of his Owen tag team, I really liked them together. Dude annoys me. I have nothing really to add, just wanted to say that.

I have nothing really to add, just wanted to say that. That promo him and Karren did still confused the hell out of me. It's like they wanted to stay in Kayfabe but including a new company he runs breaks that apart. Also I agree that Jeff has never really done it for me considering his early TNA run made HHH blush.

They brought up a pretty funny point on Observer in that if they're going this GFW invasion route, how they told Tyrus to take a hike because he dared to work for Jarrett, and now they've re-signed Jarrett, and we might be looking at Tyrus coming in as a GFW invader. Just another layer of TNA's madness.

Wrestling news sites should never report "big news" is coming from TNA, because they know fully well that TNA doesn't have the capacity to generate big news. It's always some sort of face palm that inspires laughter. If their big idea is to bring back Jeff Jarrett and do some sort of lame invasion with his pissant TNA-imitating indie, it's more proof if anyone needed it that this company needs to die, because they will never ever get it right, or even slightly right.

– According to f4wonline.com, the details on the relationship between Jeff Jarrett and TNA are still sketchy at this time. Word is that it will include some form of TNA participation at the July 24th Global Force Wrestling TV tapings in Las Vegas, NV. Magnus is believed to already be booked on the show, and others from TNA could be added. More details as they become available.
Jarrett is slowly taking TNA from Dixies hands.

So it makes you wonder if this was Jarrett's plan all along? Or did he think at the beginning that TNA would cave?

TNA as a company is far more entertaining than TNA as wrestling. They're seriously hilarious.

Wait a second... why would Jeff Jarrett be interested in doing anything with TNA... unless...
...GFW was a trojan horse to get TNA back under his control?
